I haven't got my shipping notice yet, but they did cancel my first order, which was for the Combiner Hunters only. After it had gone through and I saw the 15% code, I went and placed another for all the Protectobots (for me) and another Combiner Hunters set (for a friend).

 

Got my shipping notification last night.  

 

You gotta call, even if it's a single purchase. My order was elevated after calling HTS, and confirming my address. As a result, it ships today. :] (ieieieie)

 

Wait ... is there a 15% off code that works for SDCC items? Or is it on the non SDCC items.

Also, unique or a generic one?

HAHAHA...I laughed so much a little pee came out...definately not a good year for scalpers!

 

Doesn't matter, the code would have only worked on the retail items, not on any SDCC exclusives.

Except for the Ant-Man and Stormtrooper, although I don't collect either, and it doesn't seem like a good "investment" since I am pretty sure Hasbro said more troopers were on the way, SDCC was just the debut of them.

Man Slug, this year was tame compared to last.

 

Omega...I agree with you a 1000%, IMO I think Hasbro just said to themselves "why make 500 exclusives (I'll use the SDCC 2013 MTG set as an example) and charge $50-60 when people are buying it from us and flipping them for $500-$600...no, let's make 1000 units, double the price and these geeks will still buy them from us...we already know how much hype the post SDCC HTS sale brings...make more + charge more = more profits for us" that is what Hasbro is saying to themselves as we speak as they plan out their 2016 SDCC exclusives...plus yeah, most of this year's exclusives sucked ass! I'll prob hang around a few more days to have some laughs with you guys and see if I can nab something during the restock...but as always it's been a pleasure and I will see ya'll next year!

 

Yeah, the announcement of the sale made it bearable. Though I still missed the Stormtrooper, shit.

 

I'm shocked that SDCC Devy is still available after all this time. SDCC Metroplex was gone in under a couple if minutes. I wonder if the chromed purple was a bad call by Hasbro's team. It would be a disaster if it last like last year's crap "rock band".

 

My order has yet to ship but I'm ting to be patient.

 

I don't know earlier in the week the ant man repeatedly went in and out of stock and Devastator and the Kreons have done that a little too. I don't figure the remaining stock number is very high. Now the Combiner Hunters on the other hand look like they'll be keeping Jem, the GI Joe stuff and the pony company for a while

 

So Hasbro cancelled my order without telling me. Called them and they said it was a CC issue. Called CC company, after seeing charge posted. CC said no issues.

So I was charged and no stormtrooper.

 

That blows.

Did you call prior to it being marked cancelled? I swear no matter what, if I don't see it marked as shipped and a tracking number I call. This year I had to call 3 times - twice because it was on hold because of the amount (even though they supposedly took care of that on the first call) and the third time because it hadn't shipped 2 days after the hold was supposedly taken off.

There will be the eventual restock so you can always hold out hope for that.

 

AGREED AGREED AGREED!!! I also had to call 3 times, call as many times as it takes to make sure your order doesn't get cancelled...chances are that item(s) that you ordered that cancelled will be relisted during the restock...I know it sucks that it happened but, unfortunately thats how HTS works, its not the best practice but I understand why they do it.

 

Got my Devy and Kreons... NOT A SINGLE DAMN PIECE OF PACKING MATERIAL.

Bounced around the oversized box.

You'd think they would take better care of this stuff...
