Nah, I wouldn't spend that much monry on something like that. Now if I found one on ebay for around the cost of an Alternator at retail, then yeah I'd bite. But you know, crap in one hand wish in the other and see which one fills up first.

One or a few may be nice, but too afraid they'd get carried away with it to the point where's there's too many exclusive Alts to go broke over.
I think it's perfect how it is now because completing our Alt collection is challenging enough with all the poor marketing and all. It feels great already to complete them.
Throwing some exclusives in there may screw up that perfect challenge.

Think we should let some lines be, so the not so hardcore completionist can get some love too. Or the older fans who arent able to attend shows or afford the exclusives , and getting away with some normal Alts from the store is all they can get away with or afford. (without the woman killing them)
Just saying since adults love those Alts, so this way they can have some bragging rights too, they deserve it. Without having to sneak around behind the wifeys back ordering crazy expensive Alts while killing that grocery money.

Of course if they made some AltBT exclusives I'd be all over them like pie. Mmm pie.

 

I'd just rather not think aobut the price that Botcon would sell them for- $60 to $80 a piece. But, yeah, I'd still get them. I'd pass up some Cybertron or vintage stuff for a couple of months, but I'd get 'em.

I'd be pretty pissed. Stick to mainline repaints or older fig repaints that I don't care about and I'll be happy.

 

well, conferences don't have THAT many attendees

vs. the general market at least. I'd prefer they not be made into any good convention exclusives. But in the end, they'll do what they do.

 

I would continue to feel sad that I can't afford to attend conventions or buy exclusives.

 

Been to all the Botcons and will continue to do so. I've bought all the Botcon Exclusives and will continue to do so.

And seeing how the comic last year included the never gonna be produced Bumblebee Alt, I'd have to say that if Hasbro let them do one... They'd do it right.
