We just got Topspin but there's been little talk of Twin-Twist. What do you think?

Is what they want you to believe so you'll buy Topspin, but Twin-Twist will actually be the very first Hascon-exclusive figure!

But serious answer, yeah, i'd imagine a pretty minimal remold. Look at the Mech Ideas Jumpstarters. Not a huge amount of difference between them

 

Unfortunately for us Wreckers are a 'team' and therefore are frequently encountered in groups which makes engagement difficult. Even by themselves a single Wrecker can prove to be a handful.

Even unarmed, Twin Twist particularly must be handled with care as his freakishly fast conversion is apt to catch you unawares and he loves sinking his double drills into us. Recommended course of action is to redirect course and divert Twin Twists attention to a lovely lampost, seeing as he seems to love drilling those too.

This advice is not suitable for Lampformers, sorry Soundwave.

Nothing confirmed yet. As long as the box set is available at retail, I'll be happy.

They aren't going to make Twin Twist if the rumors list is anything to go by. I won't be surprised considering how they've handle subgroups before.

I'd almost be okay with this. Buy another Twin Twist and dab on some white paint. Maybe figure out how to stick the FoC version's drills on him and call it a day.

Remember this gift box, I thought he was going to be in here... It's Cloudraker though. Funny because Twin-Twist and Topspin are Twins too. Makes me wonder how Cloudraker will be done.

It seems the boxsets will follow the same pattern as the Autobot heroes set.
1 leader, 1 voyager, 2-3 deluxes.
So it could wind up like this

Box 1.
Quickswitch(leader)
Tidalwave(voyager)
Fastlane(deluxe)
Pounce(deluxe)
Nautica(deluxe)

Box 2.
Magnus Prime(leader)
Godbomber(voyager-ultra?)
Cloudraker(deluxe)
Wingspan(deluxe)

If they use Takara's Godbomber, which I thibk they will because the initial reports for "Iron Apex" were a deluxe but also just had a placeholder image of G1 GB.
That would essentially take the place of another deluxe and even out the box, plus Apex would be presumably able to combine with Magnus Prime(who is in the same box.) There are also some additional Titanmasters rumored to be in the boxes.

I also honestly have to wonder if this Magnus Prime just uses the Ginrai mold with a new head. It wouldn't be the first time Hasbro has brought over a retooled mold for a different character, like Magnus

 

Takara's Godbomber is just as big as Ginrai in robot mode. He just gets extremely compact in vehicle mode. That would be 2 leader in one box. I don't think that will happen.

Anyhoo. Twintwist could easily be remolded from Top Spin. Just swap out the front nosecone/vents with drills, remove the wings, and add treads. Boom.

 

I pray by all that wrecks'n'rules he is not just a Titan Master...I don't have the "eyes" others posses when it usually comes to actually knowing the pretools...but...I think I see an easy retool from his Jumpstarter/Wrecker brother...

 

It'd be ridiculous for HasTak not to do a minimal retool to Topspin. spartan 3764 gave a very good description of how to create Twin Twist.

(And given the relative simplicity of turning Blurr into Brainstorm, HasTak has precious little excuse not to give us the other twin.)

 

I would rather have the missing target masters lol, but i can see him being done as nightbeats mold lol
