Theyre going to be all teched-out. Wouldn't they get noticed?

 

The human population will be too worried about the hundreds of mechnical dragons rampaging around Earth to notice the road-warrior cars.

Given that many don't even see the huge Decepticon warship flying above them, I think they might be safe if they go that way. The humans would be thinking they are some heavy gear up street racers.

IMO, I think that's just for the toy side only. I don't see the Bots just gaining new looks to fight the Predacons.

 

They don't see to notice Arcee still driving around with no driver half the time either. Humans are stupid. A couple spikey bumpers will bother them?

 

Are we certain season 3 is taking place on Earth? I don't remember seeing the setting of S3 being mentioned.

 

Well, if it's on Cybertron, then I doubt the humans will be able to see the cars from that distance.

 

$100 says it's just something they did to the toys in order to sell some more and it will have little-to-no bearing on the show itself.

 

Two things other people have mentioned but I think they could be right.

The Mad Max designs could be a toy only thing. I would not be the first time and I'm sure it will not be the last time that something was in a toy line but not the accompanying media.

It's possible that the third season could be set on Cybertron. If Megatron can revive Cybertron then does he hang around Earth or does he go to take Cybertron as it's ruler? If Megatron ends up ruling on Cybertron then it's pretty likely that the Autobots are going to follow him to Cybertron rather than hanging out with the kids here on Earth.

 

I doubt the toy alterations will show up in the show. That would cost more money, which they probably wouldn't be able to do with the Preadcons taking up Animation model money already

 

They have said that earth and Cybertron are connected.

Also I think that the extras are for toys only.

 

For all we know, these battles with the Predacons may not occur in populated areas. Could be deserts, hidden temples, jungles, or maybe not even on Earth.

If they are staying on Cybertron they may have Cybertronian vehicles and if they stay on earth than they will stay with the same vehicles and may acquire beast disguises.
