For me, it was alright, overall. Pros: 1. My daughter's first Christmas. She really loved it, especially the paper. I think that, and the boxes, were her favorite gifts. 2. Saw most of my family, with little or no fighting. 3. Got most of what I asked for, and then some. Including MP Screamer, which I have yet to open, mostly out of fear of QC issues. Cons: 1. I was sick all of last week. Completely stuffed up, dehydrated, sore throat, nausea, etc. I hate being sick. The weird thing is, no one really knows when I'm sick unless it's really bad and it shows in my face (sad, droopy eyes, etc.). 2. Had to see some of my wife's extended family, who I barely know and feel like an outsider/outcast.
It was alright. I was balls deep in my maid for most of it. And now it's near years. Only 30 minutes of 2007 left, there's no lights on and I've been drinking a wee bit, yet still remain coherent. Fuck you drunk posters that type shit like ;lkaslkj;gsd;klnxcver dicks.
started as a typical family christmas but then came the so called blacksheep of the family(mom's side), the drunk uncle and after a near brawl with another uncle, he calmed down... only to destroy my grandmother's dining room glass table. yeah her precious boy made a boo-boo. as for gifts, i just got shirts and pants and the traditional white socks. im not one for gifts anyway. in all, it was ok.
It was good for me. the youngests first xmas...she has no idea (shes only 5 motnhs) so we stuck bows on her head lol. the oldest, shes 2, had a blast ripping the paper. wantd to open everything so the gf and i had to hurry and open our presents while she was busy opening something else LOL. i got 7 3" Titanium transformers (i want the whole set damnit) deluxe barricade, highscore 100 (or whatever that real gears guy is) and 3 dubcity diecats cards (dodge ram, dodge charger and bmw ac schnitzer). A couple of other things, but thats all i can really remember.
Any time I can spend with my Niece and Nephew is wonderful.I helped my Nephew put his Lego Starwars At-At together. I helped my niece play her videogames. The only sucky part was the drive home, which took almost twice as long to get home because of a snowstorm.
It was good. My grandma visited and was not hopped up on 20 medications (as usual), and my family actually got along. God bless us, everyone! Plus, I got my new phone.
Awesome, thanks for asking. Pros: My sister and her boyfriend spent the night before Christmas. Lots and lots of fun. Gift-wise: MP Starscream-Hasbro. Encore Starscream. BWX Tigatron. BWX Wolfang. V-bot. New HP Photosmart Camera. Tripod for camera. Recharchable batteries for camera. Bioshock. X-box 360 with two bonus games. Halo 3 controller. Halo 3 Legandary Edition. Halo 3 calender. Two Halo 3 posters. Two TFTM:07 movie faction logo shirts. Three things of Haloactionclix. Pirates of the Carribean: at worlds end. Lots of new paint brushes. New exacto knife. And finally... Star wars Airborne trooper figure, because he's my favorite. I got A LOT of stuff. Cons: My Uncle and my Aunt showed up for Christmas dinner and ate everything. I never got any turkey. My Grand dad is just a miserable old fart.
Surprisingly drama free. Save ya from the details; but I think the relationship between my mother and myself is improving. That alone was a nice gift :3. I was able to tell her some of origins of the nondenominational parts of Christmas (the tree, star on the tree, and the reindeer/stag) and she didn't go off ranting about my religious beliefs. I think she's come to accept them. Started Christmas eve, had out little get together here. Mostly my dad's side of the family. Then Christmas day I went and say my mother and her boyfriend (pretty much my step-dad they've been together for over 10 years). Afterward I went with my dad for delicious turkey at his girlfriend's house (the woman that gave me the parrot) After that we went to my father's cousin's boss's party-thing at this really kick ass waterfront house.. there was beer <3.
