Could someone please post a list of all 13 primes and how/where you can get each? I'm sure the info is out there but I haven't found it all in one place(or in a clear way). I have all of the prime master/pretender single releases but that is only 8, then 4 come with the SDCC prime. They mention the "13th" in the toy listing but who is missing? Sorry if this info is obvious but I've never read the comics, I primarily just collect the toys and grew up watching the G1 show.
Ditto. It's a big middle-finger to children that 4 (5 if you count "thirteen") are only available with a $150 figure and an SDCC exclusive, while the other 8 are the cheapest toys in the line.

they need to make 13 voyager sized Primes to be our 13 Primes. I would even accept if for Vector Prime they just re-released the Cybertron one.
Agreed! I've thought about putting a 13 primes display together, but right now it would be a lot of repurposing (like Prime Predaking for Onyx Prime).
The pretender shells are only the single retail releases, right? The SDCC monkey prime just has the "headmaster" type little figures?
Just be like me and not care about getting all 13 of whatever trinkets Hasbro assigns meaning. It's just a collector's ploy. I didn't even realize there were 13 of those pointless little things until the other day.
I’m hoping someone will 3D print the symbol/backpacks for the ones that aren’t individually available, so we can attach them to duplicates of Wave 1 pegwarmers that are still collecting dust. I’d like to get more Pretender shells, but I’m not holding my breath for that.
Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for! Well, looks like I won't be getting Onyx and may just skip the sdcc prime. I really wish they would have released all 13 with the pretender shells.
anyone know if we are getting the other prime masters separate from the big black and grey gorilla this year ?
You have no idea how strongly I wanted that. They have been my main attraction to the line and to compound the issue we don't have Diver/Waverider. Diver/Waverider is the only Pretender not to have a figure from Masterforce and the only wave 1 Pretender to be excluded. It even looks like they have the Diver/Waverider mold as a retool of Cloudburst/Pheonix as it would've been redeco'd for Grand Maximus.
Not sure if anyone knows for sure, but were there plans originally to do all 13 Prime Masters with Pretender shells? Was the line cut short? Or was the plan always to do only 8 at mass retail? Seems odd.
I think there's more then a fair share of evidence that the line got cut short. Why is unknown and can only be theorized on at this point. CW: 6 waves of Legends, Deluxes, and Voyagers. 5 waves of leaders. Titan Devastator TR: 5 waves of Titan Masters, Legends, Voyagers, and Leaders. 6 waves of Deluxes. Titans Fort Max and Trypticon PotP: 3 waves of Prime Masters, Legends, Voyagers, and Leaders. 4 waves of Deluxes. Titan Predaking It gets even worse if you look at the number of molds used per line as well against POTP. By any metric, that's a much smaller line. Plus, as I had prior mentioned, it looks like the Waverider/Diver prime master shell at least reached a prototype stage as it was seen with the stretch goal for Grand Maximus, but didn't happen at all. Plus if PotP had 5 waves of Prime Masters, following the trend, a wave of 2 more, then a wave of three more and that would've covered all 13 Prime Master molds that they have.
