I'd imagine it depends on the type of joint you're talking about?

    Ball joint? Pin? Ratchet? etc...

Polish on loose joints. For a tight joint keep working it? That's the only thing I can think of besides smoking a tight joint

Might try a very small amount of WD40. Like, spray it on a cloth and then rub a little bit on the joint.

A bit of olive oil should also do the trick. Do note that it will smell less pleasant after a while, at which point you may want to rub the old oil away and apply a fresh drop of the stuff.

heat it up somehow sense its a g1 toy i presume it has stickers so hotwater wont be a good idea then once heated slowly move it up and down for a while it will losen it up, i reccomend hot water for any transformer without stickers because it ads lubacation, this works for all joints

Just going to pop in and say WD-40 is usually not recommended for use on toys as it contains solvents that can be harmful to plastic. A silicone based lubricant, like shock oil (usually used for RC cars), works like a charm and won't cause any short or long term damage.

    Floor stripper!

You gotta soak the entire figure in the stuff.

Ah, Skullcruncher... one of my early frozen joint fixes.

G1 toys tend to suffer corrosion on the screws and pins. I can't remember if those are screws or pins, so here is what you can do either way:

If it is a pin, knock it out with a pin punch or carefully with a small nail and a tack hammer. After it is out, wipe it off, maybe even with a bit of sandpaper to knock off some of the corrosion, then put it back in, making sure to insert it back in the way it came out.

If it is a screw, using a screwdriver, firmly but carefully remove the screw. (If the screw head is stripped, use a rubberband over the head so the screwdriver can grip.) Don't force it too much, maybe work it several times to get it started. It is metal in plastic, so it won't be rust-locked, but it may take a few runs. After the screw gives, take it out. You can clean the screws by soaking them in vinegar, but the corrosion can usually be wiped off good enough to allow return of mobility. Then, return the screw, careful not to over-tighten.

On a side note, a silicone-based lubricant can be used safely on plastics. I don't know that it will help a completely frozen joint move, though.

Yep, just remove the pin (several videos on YouTube can show you how, or you can look on the Radicons Customs section of this board, I'm sure there are instructions there), clean it off a bit, and put it back in. It should be a relatively minor/easy repair.

    Good luck!

I've heard shock oil can work.

Less weed and not so tight a roll? I don't use it, though, so that's just a guess...
