online i had read a while ago that stinger would be available by pre-ordering the game at walmart. i just went there today to preorder it so i could get him and they said they didnt have pre-orders available for it. a sign for the game just says stinger available by buying at walmart. so do i get him by just buying the game at walmart or did i have to peo-order it awhile before hand rather than the day before it comes out?

 

It's likely that all of Walmart's initial shipment of games will include Stinger. I imagine you'll be able to go into Walmart on release day and see that all the copies of ROTDS have a little Stinger call-out on the case.

 

No clue man, but he'll probably be available to play as after someone tells us the code to unlock him!

 

Is that possible to pre-order the game from Walmart? If so then you might as well try that.

 

When FOC came out, Wal-mart advertised a downloadable copy of War For Cybertron as their "pre-order" bonus, but when the game actually came out, all in store copies had it.

With Wal-mart, it's not really a "Pre-order" exclusive, it's more of a "Store" exclusive, it's not like GameStop where your code is on the reciept, the code is usually on a slip inside the case.

 

You don't have to preorder from Wal-Mart you just have to buy the Wal-Mart version when it releases. the code will be inside.
