With the Collectors' Club wrapped up, I think now is a good time for me to get caught up with the Timeline comics before it starts getting harder to find. But because of the many different formats and storylines released, I am not sure how to get completely caught up.

I have tried to make a list of all the things I have to gather in order to read it all, but I might have gotten some things wrong. Could someone correct it if I am wrong?

    The list so far:
    • The prose stories found here.
    • The 13 BotCon comics:
    1. Descent into Evil
    2. Dawn of Future's Past
    3. Games of Deception
    4. Shattered Glass
    5. Wings of Honor
    6. Generation 2: Redux
    7. The Stunti-Con Job
    8. Invasion
    9. Termination
    10. A Common Foe
    11. Hoist the Flag
    12. Cybertron's Most Wanted
    13. Dawn of the Predacus
    • Transformers Collectors' Club Collected Edition volumes 1-5
    • Transformers Collectors' Club Magazine issues 31-72
    • Transformers Timelines Spring Special.
    • The BotCon script readings
Is this list correct? Does it cover all Timelines fiction and only the fiction? Is there any digital versions of the comics and magazines? I prefer that than to pick up entire boxes full of print material. What is the cheapest way to get caught up? Where would I find anything that is currently not up on the Collectors' Club store?

Bit tricky, this one. Took me a long while to catch up on everything myself.

In terms of getting hold of the stuff, you're gonna need to look at this TFWiki page. The only things, to my knowledge, which are freely available are all the prose stories apart from The Dark Heart of Sandowhatever, some of the mini-comics, A Common Foe, and a couple of random issues of the magazine. In terms of getting hold of the stuff, it's a case of buying from eBay or pirating. Sorry, them's the breaks until IDW gets their act together and prints some TPBs.

In terms of getting into their stuff, you ideally want to read Beast Wars Uprising starting with Alone Together and moving through the prose stories in the order they were published. It's 100% self-contained and will probably take a while to get through, and it's probably the best of their fiction. That's the easiest one, the rest gets a bit complicated: I personally went the whole hog in publication order, but that depends on exactly how much you want to read. The Stunti-Con Job's a good standalone read. I've been meaning to get a diagram for this stuff together, if only for the time I spent researching it, so maybe I'll post that here when I get around with it. BWU'll keep you busy until then, though I'm sure others will pitch in with their own opinions.
