in comics etc? compared to likes of megatron, starscream, shockwave, soundwave etc?
his only apperance in the comics was as one of the brainwashed Transformers by the initiative, but it was just a cameo, so we cant awnser how strong he was in the comics because he didnt appeared much
I'm sure Lockdown is as strong as the major Decepticons like Soundwave, Megs, and maybe Shockwave. Just my guess.
If he's like Animated version where he desires to improve himself with upgrades, he could be just as tough as Optimus Prime because of upgrades.
And his face transforms into a gun
Well, given that the only Shockwave, Movie 1 Megatron, Starscream, and Brawl actually fought before they died...
He's the strongest, even stronger than the Fallen because apparently he's the only threat in AOE!
Okay maybe not but my guess is that he's just as strong as Barricade but bears an arsenal of weapons.
He's an average car former. Not a heavy hitter like Optimus Prime or Shockwave or Megatron.
Of course, the power scale is skewed by different continuities... for instance, in Animated, everyone who's not a Decepticon or Ultra Magnus is pretty much the same power-wise, only really separated by the degree of training they've had. But in IDW, like I said, average car former.
The movie seems to make him one of the heavy hitters, though, so it's not like it really matters.
Well he's actually beating the crap out of Prime from what we've seen, so he does better than most.
It's tough to say what his power level will be in the film because we just have the trailers and TV spots.
Hopefully they can keep the same power level from first appearance to whatever his fate might be in the film. Sometimes the films have been bad about a powerful introduction only to have the power level drop off drastically as the film goes on so fingers crossed they go with powerful all the way.
Isn't he the only one alive in the movie aside from Galvatron?
So I guess pretty strong.
Despite common sense, I'm going to choose to trust that Bay does Lockdown justice. He's an All-American type of bad ass. Heck, he sports his own built in cycle helmet, has a vicious guard dog, loves fixin' on stuff (himself anyway), and is one Harley shy of showing up on "The Sons of Anarchy." If he goes out, I don't think it will be while sharing dirty needles with a homeless, junky Megatron. I hope not anyway!
Yeah that happens all the time. Can be like two different characters.
based on what we've seen so far..he's a heavy hitter and the biggest threat we've seen in the movie-verse. Hopefully the full movie does the character justice
Well because of his body shape and the fact he Transforms into a Lamborghini i'd say his physical strength wouldn't match up with the big boys however i think he is their for a more psychological reason, to play with Optimus's mind abit more than others kind of like the joker in batman instead of Bane(Megatron,Shockwave etc) i think that's more his presence in the film
Separate names with a comma.
