I can spend hours, just looking around at my collection, its not even that big, 250 or so now. but seriously my wife is amazed at how much time i can spend just sitting in aww of my plastic crack. I think its that I can put my self in the perspective of someone who has never seen it before, so its almost like im looking at it for the first time almost every time. Have you ever done that, if not, pretend you've never seen your collection before the next time you look around at it, its fun!

so yeah, how much time do you spend/have spent just looking?

 

Five seconds, or an hour, give or take. My collection exists to be taken off the shelves and messed with. Plus I have barely over a hundred, and they're fairly crammed in my room alongside a half dozen other toy and statue series.

i spend about 3 minutes then im off to do something wacky with my twin friends(now doesnt that sound familiar?)

 

all day if 99% of it wasn't boxed up.

 

Pretty much all the time I spend watchin tv. My collection surrounds it, so I get to do 2 things at once, multi tasking, its not that hard  

 

I can spend hours looking, days dusting and a lifetime re-organizing.

 

I keep on thinking on ideas for pictures .. lol

 

I've spent up to 15 minutes, although it's usually at the toys I didn't buy at retail or get from friends. I just get lost in wonder how some of my non-retail purchases came together through fate so something, like my latest two Alts from the 'bay; Battle Ravage and Skids. Battle Ravage came from Canada, Skids from New York, two toys from the same line yet they were part of two different collections in two different countries that only came under the same roof in my possesion.

 

I don't have that much, but I constantly stop and stare for 5, 10 minutes at a time throughout the day. Right now I'm just in awe of ROTF Prime.  

 

Not much at all. I spend a lot of time looking a pictures online of stuff I don't have yet. When I was teenager I would spend whole days with them, even falling asleep while still playing games. Now its more in my head. I have an idea of Transformers and the toys are there to back it up.

Perhaps if I had a bigger place to live that could change.

 

I love staring at my collection. It brings back good memories.   I usually spend at least 15 minutes if I'm on a time limit, but I can spend at least 45 minutes.  

 

My collection, which now consists of over 350 TFs, is currently laid out on a floor of a room. I can very easily just stare at it for at least an hour and not get the urge to touch one.

It depends. Usually not too long. Yesterday I just spent a few minutes showing my friend Amber all the plastic crack on display. She hadn't seen it in several years and was blown away by it.

 

I dont look at them, but I plAY WITH THEM FOR A WHILE WHEN i GET BORED

My very first post here on the boards... I felt this was an appropriate topic for it considering I'm in the process of moving. I never spent more than 15-20 minutes looking at my collection (about 250+) but I never fully appreciated how cool these things are until I started boxing them up . . .
