You meant the back-heavy issue? Yeah its a shame there was no 2nd version. Like TFC exgraver, FPJ could learn from them.

 

Well, the heels from shapeways (By Process actually) fix the backheavy part, but the fact that his knees are pretty much made to grind themselves into mush within 3 transformations is just a shame.

 

I noticed the knee problem with mine but don't know what caused it. Can it be fixed somehow?

 

Honestly bro, I saw some tutorials on the board, but they involved shit like removing the knee pins and stuff like that, which I have no idea how to or want to do... I have no problems fixing minor stuff like joints, but that stuff's a bit intense.

 

I know what you meant now. I hardly played with him since the 1st transformation. Its not easy at all!

 

I don't know if you need the full sticker set for him. I just slapped a white-backed autobot logo on his chest plate and that's sufficient for me.

If you want to display him in helicopter mode you can pick up a cheap gundam stand (they run like $8):

 

I didn't realize that's what caused my knees to be so loose. Can those shapeways heels tuck away in any of his alt modes or do you just have to pull them off and put them on the side?

 

I was thinking about getting it as a random purchase. I'm not that into Springer but admit the toy is pretty awesome. But with an issue like that I'd rather save my money.

He's a good figure but the joints get loose incredibly fast if you like to fiddle with your toys a lot. I tried leaking some floor polish into his knee joint and it kind of helped, but not sure how it will be long term.

I'm pretty sure they don't store in alt mode.

 

honestly it wont get fiddled with , i just wanted it to go in a display case with the other season 3 guys. so if its not transformed a bunch i take it thats its fine? i hate to get this and right out the box its floppy.
