I used http://www.xe.com/ucc/ to find the answer

    $1000 CAD=about $468 Pounds

So if you use that number, you get an idea of how much a UK fan has to pay to fly out to BotCon.

    It's the exchange rate,one of life's UNcontrollables

Here is what I am paying. Conversion from XE.com.
    Club membership - $89 (£50)
    Preregistration - $265 (£148)
    Flights - £476.60
    Accommodation - $40/night (x3) = $120 (£67)

Total (before food, drink, and dealer room):
    £741.60, or $1,322.51.

Dravens pretty much on the money, and thats without even adding on foods and dealer room splurges.

DAMN. I had no idea it was costing you guys nearly $900 just for the flight over, not counting other expenses. I have newfound respect for the dedication of peeps like Draven and Twin Twist for making the trek.

*ahem* Twin Twist is not making the trek. He made the trek last year, and unless you own a Delorean you will not be seeing him this year, because even with the delorean technically it would still be last year... oh dear I have gone crosseyed.

Besides, it's not dedication, it's down right idiocy!

    Hey

Well this is my um . . . 9th? American convention, not the cheapest but not the most expensive!

Being a dealer my cost's are much higher, shipping & taxes etc

Im guessing this trip will be around £3000, just shy of $5000
    :)
