Hey...i was just sitting here thinking...how many new figures, by that i mean how many more figures that were released in galaxy force are left to be released in Cybertron? Is it enough to run the line to the movie like they said?
If memory serves... Lugnutz, Scrapmetal, Soundwave, Metroplex, and Primus are the only figures with Galaxy Force counterparts still awaiting release in the US. No, it's not enough to keep the line running until the movie. BUT! Hasbro's also giving us Quickmix and Menasor, plus a boat load of repaints (Cannonball, Excellion, Sky Shadow, to name a few), then there's at least one new mold coming soon in Shortround. And we can't forget about the Classics line.
oh yeah...i can not wait to see what that new unicron looks like....I think I am pretty much sold on the GF primus since I will have a long time to save up for the US Cybertron release of it...Repaints/retools in the main line usually do not get my interest or money for that matter lol...the only one I will probably get so far that I know of is skywarp just because i love him lol.
I do admit that i want the undermine repaint of repugnus. but i hope they make him an autobot like the original.
From what I've seen on the pegs, CYB is still waiting on: 1. Rumble 2. Sonic Bomber 3. Soundwave 4. Backgild 5. Roadstorm 6. Megalo Convoy 7. Blender 8. Moledive 9. Primus And by that I mean from GF alone and not the CYB exclusive stuff... Even though Moledive and Blender might be Hasbro exclusives... Who knows... And then there's Soundblaster...

The stuff with GF counterparts that aren't out yet are: Wing Saber (Sonic Bomber) Metroplex (Megalo Convoy) Lugnutz (Roadstorm) Scrapmetal (Red Ramble) Soundwave Primus Hasbro is also giving us these 3 show characters that weren't released in GF. Dark Crumplezone (Arm Bullet) Menasor (Blender) Quickmix (Moledive) Also there's a slew of repaints. Repugnus (Undermine repaint) Excellion (Hot Shot repaint) Override GTS (Override repaint) Skywarp (Thundercracker repaint) Cannonball (Red Alert repaint) Sky Shadow (Jetfire repaint) Soundblaster (don't know if this is GF only though) Probably more... There's also Shortround and the deluxe Unicron. More Minicon 2-packs in the future including new molds. More LOC on the way.
Man, how did I forget Wing Saber? Doesn't matter. He has to be an Autobot or Decepticon. Even Takara's releases were aligned as Cybertrons and Destrons, despite the story in the anime.
I can't say I'm looking forward to the onslaught of repaints, I may end up skipping a lot of them if I don't come up with better means of funding sometime soon
