Uh.....crap. Let's see $20 on Armada Unicron, $30 on Death Star Vader, $50 on Primus with Unicron Head,..........................

    Minamium guess: 1k
    Maximum guess: 5K

Someone between those numbers. Now just don't ask me what I spend on japanese toys like Figuarts, Figma's and Revoltechs.

    No more than $3,000.
I used to select my favorite and spend quite a long time to consider.

That is a number that I really don't want to calculate or know.

I hold a spreadsheet too. But also noted on the sheet is the profit I made from selling parts of my collection when I needed a new car, or some extra dough for my wedding + honeymoon.

    Transformers are realy good stock

Funnily enough I was only wondering something similar to this today. I was talking to a friend about TF and said I'd spent less this year on figures than last year. Then I started thinking about everything I got this year and now I'm not so sure.
Back in the G1 days I used to keep a little book and write down each figure I bought and what I paid. Quite an odd thing for a little kid to do now I think about it. Unfortunately I misplaced the book in the mid-ninties and only found it again last year so that leaves a huge gap I'll never be able to accurately fill.

It really wouldn't surprise me if I've spent more than £20,000 on TF stuff, perhaps even more when I include stuff like the comics. It's not like I could even say it's an investment as I have no intention of selling any of it.

It's scary when I think about it all and how different things might've been if I'd never got into Transformers. Then again I've got shitloads of DVDs as well so I guess I'd have just found something else to fritter my cash away on.
Would be nice to travel through time and every time in my past I opened my wallet to buy something like this my future self would appear and slap the wallet from my hands shouting 'NO!!'. :p

I want to say around 1000 maybe more but no more than 2k.

Wow i decided to go through and do the math and based on the figures that i got since i started collecting again that i know are not gifts the number is around 2200-2300. Math is fun i guess.

I just did a pretty accurate calculation and came to this: $1,515... and thats spanning 10 years! Pretty good i think, im proud! (i'll add another 100-150 for misc charges like S&H and maybe a replacement figure here or there

Classics being my biggest display (thank god i dont fall for every iteration of TF's)... and about 10 or less each of RID, alts, Energon and movie figures.

I foresee collection retirement in my future once the upcoming classic character figs are bought... Nail is in coffin when/if 3rd party classics style Devastator releases!

Seriously, it would feel like "my job is done here"...

I don't understand all of the responses that claim, "too much", or "I don't want to think about it". What is the point of replying to a thread whose title is "how much have you spent?" with a statement like that? It may be my opinion, but it seems like that is kind of a pointless response that doesn't add anything to the thread.

I don't really know how much I've spent. I added my BBTS orders up, $2779. That's not counting the Predaking reissue coming soon. I tried to see my total with ebay, but I haven't used them in a few months, and my purchases were cleared. I figure with ebay and wherever else I've ordered from, plus buying from stores, I've probably spent about $5000 bucks on them.

I am sure some of you will agree but I hope that when the time comes that I reach the $25000 mark of my collection that I will have all the ones I want, and can be satisfied with what I have. But alas it seems like its a never ending struggle. Finally we will see in a year or two.

One last thing tho,to all of those out there who have the self control to resist the temptation to give in to this plastic crack addiction I commend you,I have tried myself but end up back where I am now, getting my next fix of plastic crack, hehe, tho it is fun.

Never actually thought too much about it, but I'd assume in the low end of the $20K - $50K range. I mean, just looking around my living room, I can see 11 Leader class figures (~$45 each, ~$495 total), 4 Masterpieces (~$100 each, ~$400 total), 22 Alternators (~$20 each, ~$440 total)...which brings me up to ~$1400 right there. Add in all the Scout, Deluxe, Voyager and vintage figures in my living room, plus all the stuff in my bedroom, and I'd be surprised if it came out less than $20K.
