How many words per minute can you type? I just took a test on ProveIt! and I only squeezed out 36. Not great. I had zero errors and corrections though. My problem is that I never learned how to type in the traditional style. I just use my 2 index fingers, or hunt and peck as I call it. Not very efficient I guess.
I dunno, so I guess I'll give myself a minute and test it shall we? 15 seconds so far so I guess it's not too bad. I'm trying to find things to waffle on about but when you're not really thinking about a subject it's actually kinda hard, I guess I'd not be very good at talk shows. And my minute is up, so 58 words in that minute. I went back and corrected as I went along though, so it would have been higher, but with mistakes.
I'm around 30, but I'm also dyslexic. My mom used to be able to type around 150-200 wpm. (on a typewriter)
Arround 40 discounting spelling and gramatical errors go dyslexia. reading wise i can read a full 500 to 600 page book in arround 4 to 5 hours if it intrests me i read the full Harry Potter series in 1 week whilst working full shifts.
I haven't timed/tested myself since High School, but I'm willing to bet it's at least 60. Luckily, I do some typing at work (and online) so I stay in practice. EDIT: I just did the test on typingtest.com. I got 44WPM the first time and 56 the second. In my defense, I was trying to go WAY too fast the first time.
Hmm, gonna have to try that test. Copying text is gonna be harder then just waffling... Hmmm, taking Typingtest.com got me 52 WPM, 5 mistakes (90% accuracy) adjusted to 47wpm...
