Definitely a bunch of times. What I'm surprised at, is how given the Prime producers keep citing the time/cost of rendering CGI models limiting the number of characters, we still haven't gotten any seekers aside from Starscream! Hasbro really gets their moneys' worth with that mold!
There will be a few redecos I am sure, but probably nothing like the movies lines 52+ unless Prime lasts for 5 plus years which, while it would be awesome, seems 3 years is usually the max.
Lets see, going by Movie Bee we have probably gotten about 18 to 25 versions in 5 years,so taking into account that the show will be at around season 2 and half when the Prime figures come out,and if the show lasts 5 seasons which some say might, then that gives us almost 3 years of them. So in my theory we could get around 14 or 15 different Bee's.
Hasbro have more creative control over Prime... which means less pressure to bombard us with BB repaints, on top of which no Paramount means no royalties to pay to Paramount...which hopefully means less repaints. On the the other hand, i think early case assortment info does indicate at least initial deluxe waves are going to be BB heavy.
He'll be on shelves for a while. Hasbro probably put a bunch in the first cases to ensure this. He'll also be in future case assortments. They might make a few repaints here and there, but I have no idea why they can;t just keep bringing out the original.
