Cases where I purchased multiples of the exact same toy:

- TFTM07 Classic Camaro BB - Broke the automorph on my first one, found another that had the 'fixed' version of the gimmick and picked it up.
- BW TM Megatron - First one broke at the waist from GPS within two months. Second one is going on well over a decade with no problems.
- BW TM Terrorsaur - Just love the figure and bought one extra.
- TFA Arcee - Noticed small cracks developing on the thumbs of the first one I bought. Got a second and keeping it MOSC to open in the event the thumbs break on the first one.
- RotF Breakaway - One of each colour variation
- Energon Terrorcons and Omnicons - Purchased 6 Insecticons, 3 Divebombs, 2 Battle Ravage, 2 Command Ravage, 2 Doom-Lock, 2 Cruellock and 2 Skyblast for extra Energon weapons. Have since repainted 1 Insecticon with a G1 colour scheme and sold a couple of the other duplicates.
- Pretty sure I have multiples of G1 Ravage, Laserbeak and Overkill.
- Generations Scourge (upcoming) - I plan to buy 4 of these. One will get some extra black and silver paint applications and serve as the 'actual' Scourge, while the remaining three will be Sweeps.

As far as cases where I have multiple versions of the same mold:

- Energon Bruticus Maximus tank limb mold (7)
- Energon Bruticus Maximus helicopter limb mold (6)
- Energon Superion Maximus A-10 limb mold (5)
- Energon Superion Maximus fighter jet limb mold (5)
- Armada Seeker mold (5)
- I will have 5 versions of the Classics Seeker mold when I get Thrust, 6 when Dirge eventually comes out.
- Counting the Energon Saber remolds, and subsequent repaints of those, I have 5 versions of the Runway and Sonar molds from the Armada Air Defense Team and 6 versions of the Jetstorm mold.
- There are a number of figures of which I have 3 or 4 versions, but not listing all of those.

Well, apart from TFA Jetfire/Jetstorm. And Robot Heroes stuff, but apart from that I have a strict rule to never buy a mold more than once.

 

Because "I had 2" would make this list far too broad...

For my 6th birthday, I got 4 BW Noctorros. Only kept one.

More modernly, I've had:
3 Cybertron Vector Primes (2 white because I also wanted the 2-pack, sold both at different times, bought gray later, traded that towards Botcon Clench)

Non Transformers, but this wins by far...
3 MP-B01 King Exkizers. First was for my birthday 2 years ago, sold that because I couldn't find Dragon Kizer, then when I could find it I didn't have money... etc. for at least a year. Got a great deal on a second one in a trade, so I took that and rolled with it. Now that I have money, I didn't waste too much time before I bought Dragon Kizer... Except the only way to get that for decent was with another King Exkizer.

 

I think the top is 18 versions of new camaro bumblebee (counting repaints, repacks and remolds). Movie voyager prime and movie 1 seekers are up there too.

 

I have three versions of many BT/Alt/KP molds, but I'm not sure if they count because there were some differences between any trio. I'm not actually sure about the Dodge Ram mold, but my Nemesis Prime got a new head right away to make Trailbreaker so it's certainly not the same as Alt Optimus/KP Convoy now.

Other than that I only have the mold for Eject, Rewind, and Rosanna in triplicate.

Of course, my 25th/Modern Era Cobra army is an entirely different story.

I bought Alternator Dead End twice cause the car door of my first one broke. I was planning on returning it back to the store, but never did. Anyone know how a broken Alternator Dead End goes for loose, with the packaging and everything.

Then I wound up selling most of my collection, and then later replacing them with a set of regulars. I've actually owned 4x X-Brawns/Wildrides, as I bought a Korean Wildride afterwards, for the unmodded head and tail lights), three separate iterations of RiD Prime/Magnus (first set again got sold off, own the second, and recently bought the Car Robots versions. Also own a spare Magnus for kitbashing fodder).

Also doubled on the Henkei versions of Mirage, Convoy, and the upcoming Hound reissue, so that I'd have a chromed set that matches my other Henkei Autobots, and their weapons that came with the G3 Trailer.

 

Anything that is a different character from G1 I will buy, and sometimes (as others have mentioned cyclonus) a couple of them. Back in Movie 1, I made the dumb decision to buy every remold/repaint of deluxe bumblebee. I think I am up to about 15 deluxe BBs MISB (grant it they have now done a few molds), damn grey legs, black legs, cannon arm, battle mask, new head, allspark, etc,etc, etc. I think I am done since they have a couple more in multipacks coming out. It retools/repaints/remolds are done well, I don't mind picking them all up. Oh yea, and 8 Universe Onslaughts since they were on clearance for $3 at Walmart, though I have given away a few of those already.

 

Off the top of my head id have to say

Cybertron Factory broken, and the reg. one, the one with cybertron symbols.
Universe repaint as Ultra Magnus.
