Per company basis and all companies in total. Is this the adult collector's toy line with the most number of releases for one franchise due to the perfect competition market?
Literally? Are you buying TFs instead of food and you're starving as a result? What's the story here?
Maybe he's bought so many that he is being crushed under the weight after dozens of detolfs full of goodness came crashing down on top of him? At least that's how I'm hoping to go out in a few dozen years.
I was keeping track early in the year, and we are at more one a week several months in, and I stopped counting. I think for sheer number of fill toys Maketoys was the highest this year, doesn't Rioter Despotron bring them up to 13 individual figures for 2016 (although that is counting the individual Quantron toys that came out earlier this year)? MMC has 12 individual figures I know of, FansProject 9.
I'm exhausted man. It's just a vicious cycle of: run out of space -> sell off old shit -> buy new shit -> repeat I'm to the point where I have no room to add shelves and I'm unwilling to offload the current figures I have, but new must have super funk keeps getting released.... That's my dilemma
By "sets", I am assuming Hobo means upgrades kits and accessories. 200 seems right. I definitely know that in the last 2 years there has just been way too much stuff for me to keep track of. I feel like I used to know about almost everything coming out. Now it is just so overwhelming, I just kind of lost interest and only follow a few specific things.
Numbers are for actual releases. Cancelled or unreleased items are not counted. And yes, sets include upgrade kits as well as full figures. Examples: Xtransbots Andras - counts as 1 set, 2 figures (Scourge and targetmaster), and 2 unique molds MakeToys Battle Sentinel - counts as 1 set, 1 figure, 0 unique molds
