When stores restock, how many figures do they get per shipment of each wave? Does anyone know? I feel like when my Walmart and TRU stocked Wave 2 voyagers, they only put 1 Galvatron and 1 Hound out each time, along with 4 of Optimus and Grimlock each. I'm not sure if that's all they have, or they just grabbed those from the back to fill empty spots on the shelf.
Highly variable actually. But the numbers that arrive are determined by cases ordered and assortments included in each case. What actually gets to shelf depends on employees and stocking times. What gets ORDERED by stores....hell if I know I guess what I meant to say was that the minimum increment they cud order is one case (hopefully the Hasbro direct changes that though). They probably order more than one case and place the bots when shelves thin. The cases have preset assortments. The shipments are comprised of the case constituents.
depends on what a store orders for a given wave. Each Box of deluxes has 8 figures. Voyager has 4 Leader class is 2 other than that i do not know number of figures per case. also remember some figures end up short packed which means there are fewer of one figure than the others in said case. A famous example is G1 Targetmaster Scourge he was packed 1 to case.
It's a combination of what the case is comprised of and how much room is on the shelf. I know with Toysrus, the computer systems keep track of what gets sold every night and the next morning everything available should be restocked. If 3 voyagers get sold then an employee will go and grab the case from the back and fill in the empty 3 spaces with whichever figure they feel like. It's random but most of the time new cases arrive after a good amount has been sold leaving no partially full cases in the back, since managers dread too much back stock.
That would be because that's exactly what happened. A regular wave 2 voyager case is 1 each of Optimus, Grimlock, Hound, and Galvatron. Short packed doesn't really apply to TF figures above deluxe. Their cases are so small the new figures are rarely going to be more than 1 per.
