With the essential end of the civil war at the end of DOTM, does anyone get a sense for how many cybertronians might still actually be alive?

We see in flashbacks that there used to be a lot of them but given how easy they seem to kill each other and the difficulty in producing new robots (i didn't fully understand the stuff about hatchlings) Can we pretty much assume the cybertronians have all but commited self genocide?

Makes primes comment "were we so different?" really patronising!

i suppose TLK might address the wider universe and its demographics.

Any thought?

Hard to say exactly how many are out in the universe PERIOD, but I'd estimate there's probably less than 75 living Cybertronians left on Earth.

 

Lots!!!! Wait and see. This movie has much much more than any past movie.

Well it said that since AOE Transformers are now everywhere on Earth, which is at least one of the reasons for TRF.

The true answer is unknown, but keep in mind the only definite Cybertronians we have seen are Autobots, Decepticons, and Lockdown.

Keep in mind there are likely worlds, colonies, and lone individuals in various parts of the universe, and it's extremely likely not all Cybertronians are allied with Optimus, Megatron, or the Quints.

 

Loads!! It's a big universe and Optimus said their creators cyberformed thousands of worlds.....could be billions upon billions really!!

I imagine that amount of Cybertronians left on Earth will be how many the plot demands there be. Pretty much been a tactic that's been used in every movie; heck it was even used back in the days of G1.

No there's definently more than that out there, but does it seem odd that their is more decepticons than autobots? I mean look at all the cons in dotm, and even revenge of the fallen, the cons outnumber the bots by alot.

 

So heres what I think about the new characters. I believe that Sqweeks arrived on Earth around the same time Hound, Drift and Crosshairs did and he found Izabella in Chicago and they became friends and went into hiding togethor. I believe that the Dump Truck transformers is an Autobot and he came to Earth after the events of AOE and met Bumblebee and the others and joined them. I do think that he is Wreck Gar who will die in the beginning of the film. Now for Hot Rod, Cogman, and the WW1 tank Autobot, I think that Cogman and the Tank are actually Autobot Knights who have been on Earth for a long time. Then I think Hot Rod came to Earth after, found them and joined. All of this would have had happened many years before the Autobots and Decepticons arrive. And for the red McLaren, I think that will be the return of "Dino". Finally I think that the Autobots with the help of Megatron will revive Cybertron and I think Autobots still roaming space would go back to Cybertron to met up with Optimus and the others.

I think there's more Autobots and Decepticosn, plus other bounty hunters like Lockdown. Plus they could introduce new characters that are fan favorites in the TF Universe, Ultra Magnus, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Cyclonus, maybe the Aerialbots, Prowl, Springer, Blitzwing, etc...

Plus any of the dead Decepticosn that Joshua Joyce's company was using, could easily have done what Megatron did, and overtake/posses the drones, maybe Shockwave, plus the Dreads could be alive, Seekers, etc....

And as for Bounty Hunters, idk much about Liege Maximus, Idk if he was a Decepticon, or a Bounty Hunter.

Plus don't forget that we've heard about the Decepticon Maximum Security Prison(I imagine some Decepticons who may have not appeared, or we thought were dead are being held there, and Megatron frees them), and remember the Junkyards that's keeping dead, and maybe not so much dead Transformers, so maybe Sideswipe, Dino, Topspin, Roadbuster, and others are there. So many Cybertronians could still be out there, a huge universe in the TF Universe/Mythology.

I hope they introduce new Autobots and Decepticons that we haven't seen that, like I said, are fan favorites.

Oh, and isn't their a submarine TF that no one knows if it's an Autobot or Decepticon, or maybe not even a Transformer?

 

You forgot about the submarine tf and the McLaren, also the Shockwave clone.

 

I'm listing the ones whose status we have some ideas on.
