Since G1. I kinda fell out of it during RiD (I hated the cooky comic relief crap), but apprehensively came back in during AEC.

Since G1. Beast Wars got me out of playing with toys. Transformers was the last toyline that got me still playing while I was already 12 or 13 I guess.
On a side note I heard of Armada but never got the time to really watch it, but I like it so far from what I've seen and I've got the PS2 game. But all the time I never forgot Transformers. They were always on my mind. Once I found out about the then to be announced classics line I informed myself on a more regular basis on updates on Transformers.

It would've been either like 1985 or 1986. It was whatever year my older cousin introduced me to the world of Transformers. I would've been either 4 or 5 years old, so he would've been like 10 or 11. Whatever he was into, I was into. And Transformers was probably the best thing that I was ever introduced to because of him.

I started liking TFs towards the end of Cybertron/the beginning of Classics.

I remember watching BW off and on as a child, but I've only been a true fan since the 2007 movie.

    I love these questions -

I was a fan from Sept 1984 - 1st Grader loving and living Transformers

Then I saw TF:TM - and Transformers mostly died - Iwas getting older and they killed Prim!

Along around 2001 a random trip down the toy aisle @ Target i spot RiD car bros... then in 2003 I found re-issue G1's @ TRU ansd Alternators a year later -

Now I have nearly a thousand TFs of all series and shape!!!!

    TRANSFORMERS FOREVER!

From '84. I never saw TFTM until it was rebroadcast on television.

I prefer Marvel G1 to anything. IDW G1 is pretty good. Dreamwave can be interesting. Haven't seen the Prime-y show.

Since I saw the orginal toon on Sky Channel in 84 or maybe it was a year later here in Europe so maybe 85.
Was instantly hooked when I saw the episode S.O.S. Dinobots. Don't recall that I had heard of Transformers prior to that, I think I had a few Gobots toys prior to that and I liked them so that was possibly a stepping stone.
From the point that I saw that episode most of my waking thoughts revolved around Transformers until the Marvel comic ended here in Sweden (in 92 I think).

I was one of only a few female fans of Transformers back then(in my area!).

I saw the pilot episode when I was 11 yrs old and never looked back. I would watch the clock at school because as soon as I got home, it was on TV. I haven't stuck with anything this long before, and now I've gotten my kids as addicted as I am!

I've been a fan since '84 with both the 3 part miniseries MTMTE and the follow up season 1 and the Marvel comics. I have been hooked ever since. My favorite iteration? Transformers Animated. It was a love letter to G1 and had given us such deep characters including the most awesome version of Megatron ever as well as an Optimus you cheered for as he EARNED the title of Prime.
