Infractions last six months, but run consecutively i.e. if you have one infraction, and get a second, the second one's six months will not start until after the end of the first one's six months. Three "live" infractions results in a one week temporary ban. That ban lasts for seven days, from the time the third infraction is given. Five infractions results in a permanent ban, which is as it says, forever.
