'03 for me. I started in 98-99 but I had to start from scratch when my psycho ex-GF KILLED my rating buy bidding on tons of stuff and not paying.

I started on 97 or 98...I cant remember exactly when the site popped up but I joined quite early on. I remember back then a search for "Transformers" would bring up like 70-500 items.

I think I am on my second ID though because my first account I didn't remember my password and the original email I had used was lost.

My current account was created in Dec of '99

Anyone remember when feedback didn't have to be associated with eBay auctions? Crazy times.

 

I been buying TFs off ebay since '03, also when I made my account.

 

I've had my ebay account for 5 years but I hardly use it.

 

Sometime in early '99 when I sold much of my collection so as to have money for a car and to setup my own place.

Jan-21-99 here.. had to sign up with another account a couple of years ago after my initial one was suspended.

 

my current account started sept. 24, 1998. I had an account that I probably started earlier that year with a different college account that I don't remember anymore. that's when I re-started collecting transformers  

 

is it me or did ebay send you guys a 10% discount on any single item you win. Maybe it is a reward for being at my 10th anniversary?

 

First item I ever won was in Jan. of 2000, MIB Japanese Hound. So 8 years.

 

May 2000. Abandoned June 2006 when they decided to limit the number of items I could bid on to 1 for no apparent reason, and I had to wait for the other party to leave positive feedback until the restriction would be lifted. Worked until someone decided they couldn't be bothered to leave it, and to this day my account won't work.

My first win was through a second chance offer on a complete TM Sureshot.

The main reason I joined ebay was to buy a Menasor giftset... wish I had given the current price.

 

Hmm, didn't join until March 05 (OMG NOOB), but had browsed for some time before that.

 

July 2006 for me. SUPER NOOB!

 

Since 2000 and have both sold and bought there. But, unless eBay revises there policies in regards to sellers and other areas I'm not going to sell there ever again.
