If we get more shit like One Shall Fall then I won't last till season two. Megatrons insane, Knockouts first line was ridiculous, the Decepticons must have had a hundred casualties by now, they over use the threat of death then try to convince us that they would kill the youngest kid, the fight scene was exaggerated and the cliff hanger was so stupid because Megatron just escaped the same problem a few seconds ago so Prime could just copy him.

Until eagc7 finally watches a show (kidding! I'm kidding!)

I think I'll always be in the fandom in some way. Don't know how long I'll stay in the toy-collecting aspect of it, but I don't think I'll ever truly tire of the fiction.

I think for a pretty long time. Even if I slow down in the future, I will probably always look fondly towards it like how I do to all my childhood loves. I may not invest quite so much anymore, but I'll still love it.

    EDIT:

Please watch the spoilers. I myself have not seen the episode, and I'm sure many of us haven't either.

Well, I've been a fan since before I was born and I'm probably a bigger fan now then I was as a kid. Just tonight I drove my girlfriend nuts while we were watching the original G1 series on Hub and I quoted every word of the episode (More Than Meets the Eye Part 1 for those curious). I still get the comics when I can, I just picked up the Headmasters DVDs and I still collect the toys. I honestly can't see myself ever living my life without Transformers in it. I'm a fan for life.

As a part of the fandom? Well I've been into TFs for as long as I can remember but I've only been involved with boards such as this place for only the last few years. Even if I decide to take a break from the net, it doesn't mean I'm gonna give up my passion for TFs at the same time. We all need a break every once in a while - but at the end of the day, We'll always come back. :)

If I'm not the eldest member here, I'm close. I was a fan from '84-'87. I lost interest when the G1 cartoon ended. I got back into it in '98. From my experience you're never hardcore all the time. Interests come and go and nostalgia is a powerful motivator.

Don't think you're out forever, many will be back.

I've only purchased 3 Transformers toys since 2009. I'm pretty much done.

Once I sleeve out my right arm in TF it's pretty much for life. I'm on my 3rd revision now.

As long as it interests and entertains me. 27 years have gone by; I can't see it ending anytime soon.

i'm not a toy collector, but as long as there are new and decent tv shows to keep me entertained, video games and new films (reboot? TF4?) i'll continue to stay interested in the franchise

I'll probably leave once Prime ends. Can't say I've been a big fan of anything preceding it.

I'll always be a fan. How many toys I have will depened entirely on how much money I have over the next few years. It may be that I end up owning very few actual Transformers but I will continue to watch and enjoy the media and read the stories and discuss all aspects of the brand with my fellow fans.
I suppose that really, you never can tell, I'm sure Hasbro will continue to move Transformers forward so I see no reason not to tag along and see how it goes.
