Near the end of the movie when megs is getting his ass kicked soundwave detatches from whatever sattalite he is sucking information out of transforms into the cybertronian jet and flies down towards egypt.

even if he just helps megatron retreat at the end il still be happy.

 

They gotta Empire Strikes Back this crap. Decepticons win this round, movie ends all depressing with the Autobots beat, Prime in carbonite, all that.

 

Better yet, Jar-jar. Wait, wrong movie. . . .

 

If Soundwave retreats with Megatron, it'll be once Megatron's left Earth's orbit.

 

i agree, i think that if we ever see soundwave in robot mode at all it will be on the nemesis either when the fallen first shows up or at the end when megatron is inspecitng his new army, not on earth

 

I wonder if that new army that megatron awakes in the nemesis are the protoforms that we see getting shot at in the trailers??

According to the novel, Megatron and Starscream use a portal to teleport back to the Nemesis, rather than just flying out to orbit. Although I really hope we do see Soundwave in the final coda scene.

He only awakens the protoform army in the end. He does however open thirteen protoforms when he arrives to the Nemesis, after talking to The Fallen and Starscream. So the ones in the trailer are probably these ones.

 

But why are those protoforms thirteen?? Are they the other primes?

no, the scene at the nemesis happens way after egypt.

 

more skids and mudflap bashing. they are not going to be the "jar jar" of the movie verse for 1 you have the great voice of animated starscream and spongebob. and yeah they will screw up but to me this film seems to be about growth and redemption, Sam,Prime,Jetfire,bumblebee and even skids and mudflap seem to have alot of soul searching and redemption ahead of them. just my few cents anyway
