Ok maybe it's not a pin... It's like a sturdy metal wire. I just started collecting so I honestly have no idea how to do even mild customization. I'm specifically looking for a way to get rid of Arcee's back kibble from her Prime First Edition toy. There's this small metal wire (like a paper clip)that's keeping that joint in place. I tried pushing it out with a paper clip but it didn't work. I didn't want to mess it up so I didn't push too hard though.

Also is there a general way to remove that stuff but still have them attachable in the alt mode? Are there special magnets I can use or something?

There is lots of information about this in the radicons section where people modify figures. There is a tutorial there with some different methods I believe. One involves hitting the pin with a metal punch and a hammer

Thanks. I will get a push pin.

I did search I just didn't find anything. Since I'm asking here obviously I didn't know Radicons was the board I should have searched.

I was able to take the pins out of my ROTF Leader Prime last week. I did pretty much what the video guides say, although I did use a couple of drops of oil (the one that came with my electric razor) on the joint/hinge and let it stand over night to let the oil seep into the shaft. The following day, the pins slid off easily enough using the screwdriver/mallet combo.

I remember a bunch of people who swear by the soldering iron method.

You heat the pin with a soldering iron and push it out. Re-heat the pin and push it back in when done. Whatever bit of plastic comes off the first time will go back in the same way. Perfect.

It should be the cleanest and fastest way since the electricity does all the work for you.
