I've been reading about popping a pin out to replace parts and such, but they always make it sound so simple. I have some where the pin comes loose, it just slips right out of the joint. Normally I end up losing the pin within a day or two. Because people do apparently take them out intentionally I was wondering if someone could help me with securing it in place so I can actually use the joint.

    Thanks.

I tried to search for this before posting, but didn't find an answer.

Loose joint? Try using floor polish.

Yeah, I've got a loose pin on a G1 Overlord. Gonna try the floor polish when I get back to the states.

I just want to check, it isn't (necessarily) the joint that is loose, but the pin. It slides right out of the whole it is in so the two pieces that connect at the joint come apart. I don't own any floor polish so I want to make sure we are on the same page before I go buy some. Also the figure is white, don't know if they have white or clear floor polish or not.

I had that problem, I removed the pin completely bent it slightly and pushed it back in with the help of a pair of pliers, the added friction from the bent pin helped,
this isn't the best method, there's a risk the pin will break

It does come in clear. Just a little is all that's needed and give it a little time to cure. There is a super glue method too but have not had too much time with that since the floor polish trick usualy works.

Also, since it is falling out on it's own, bending it just a LITTLE might help if you are careful.

    Hope that helps

My default reaction with a loose joint of any kind is to drip floor polish into it. Worked for Rhinox's legs and most figures I try it on. I also use floor polish as a sealer for custom figures. So you should be fine on white.

I like how the usual reaction is to use floor polish but what about those of us who don't have access to the stuff.
