Bit puzzled as to why people are considering a sixteen-month-old video game that won't have any instalments for over a year a "current" piece of TF media. Bit like calling Animated "current".

Very good point. My only reason for including it is that the media hype is starting to gear up. The latest edition of Game Informer has Fall fo Cybertron as the cover story, so I'm sure more is to come.

It's current if you have it on television right then. WFC is current if your first time playing it was last week. Current is such a relative term, and Animated has as much right anyway. I still find Animated toys on shelves. That's current. WFC is, currently, the only non-movie tie-in game readily available.

Hell, my first time playing WFC was last week, and my first time watching Season 2 of Animated was three days ago. Talk about current. Beast Wars is current, as they're currently releasing it on DVD. G1, well, it's in everything so it's always current.

A second game is in the process of being made, which means that the WfC video game series is a currently ongoing part of the franchise. Much like how the movie franchise was still current last year, even though Revenge of the Fallen was over and Dark of the Moon wasn't out yet.

I am 32 years old. I got into Transformers a long time ago (Issue 1). I prefer the G1 aesthetic, granted, probably for nostalgia reasons. The movies may well have changed the franchise forever. I don't recall saying that they hadn't. I don't have to like it. I too, as you are, am entitled to my opinion. I don't, however, say that your opinion is ignorant. Merely different. That's ok. They are opinions.

    Just saying.

I bought WFC only a few months ago and played it for the first time recently. I play it currently. In addition a sequel is coming.

    1st: Transformers: Prime(Good)
2nd: War For Cybertron(Looks good, but I don't have a system for it yet.)
3rd: IDW Ongoing comic series(Mostly shit, but there's a few gems and the future looks promising.)
    4th: Bayformers(Total Shit)

I haven't read the novels, but they sound lousy and I don't like what they do for this new "continuity" Hasbro insists exists.
