Specifically his blue shoulder blade panels that move out and swivel around, and his red chest pieces (attached to his windshield windows) that are supposed to come off/attach to his chest.

For the blue shoulder blade pieces, there are blue panels that kind of extend out on a peg, then you're supposed to swivel them around so they can peg into itself. That blue peg that it swivels around is getting stress marks on it and I cant find a way to transform him without applying too much pressure.

Also, the small red chest pieces that peg into his chest somehow...there are tiny nubs/pegs that fit into his chest. Those have heavy stress marks and look like they are about to break off. How are you supposed to peg them in/take them out without ripping the the off forcefully?

I can't figure this out and its taking a toll on this guy. He was the only Leader Prime I could find and I can't replace him if he breaks. Please help me!

Peaugh's review doesn't really help. He just say that they "pop right in". Well sure they do...then after 3 transformations they break. -_-"

I spend like one hour to transform Prime into truck mode. It's really complicated and I was fearing some parts might break off. But I think I get the hang of it now. Will transform more now :D

It takes lots of patience to transform this guy.. Trust me, after a couple of transformations, I've already gotten the hang of it..

Meanwhile, I removed the black Autobot symbol at the visor on my Leader Prime.. It looked more like a mole, so much so that it bothered me.. So I removed it! Removing it makes it look much more movie accurate... :)

Once he looks like a truck, you've done it.

Seriously, though, the easiest way to deal with the chest peices is to slide them up as far as they go then pull them right out. The gap is slightly wider at the top so I assume that's how it's supposed to be done.

I just keep forgetting to close the arm panels/nose AFTER you slide the chest/cab into the arms, not before. But once you've TF'd him it's pretty straight-forward, but still a lengthy process.

Is that really how it is on yours? Because if that's so, there's DEFINITE differences in molding on the Leader Primes out there. Mine is NARROWER at the top, which forced me to cut my own holes to get the pegs out.

You can see how the channels narrow at the top edge on my figure next to where I cut the release grooves.

You're right, it's not the top, it's about three quaters of the way up is where it just pops out for me. I see in you pics where it get narrow, I just assumed it was the top because that's where it came out.
