Do you find the 1st season of the series as a good beginning?

Personally, I think it's been pretty good. So far my biggest problem is them erasing Optimus's memory at the season finale. Also, I'm not sure if I enjoy the development they threw into the show. Unicron introduced and as Earth's core. It's like they have to worry about Unicron waking up again until the end of continuity, and I don't think it's good thing to always have that on the back of their minds.

The characters are all likable to various degrees, but Starscream is hard to place. The series is basically a mixture of various TF series from past, which can be good and bad. Bad as in, it doesn't seem to have a lot of originality of its own, but to fans who love the old classics, I'm sure this design is pretty likable as it makes TFP a semi-reboot of many TF series in one. I for one enjoy the feeling similar to re-watching the TF series that I liked immensely.

Do everyone find TFP season 1 satisfactory?

 

The regular season episodes got off to a meh start after Darkness Rising, probably because of the rushed production schedule, but after the ending I think it's getting pretty solid as a show. I look forward to more Prime!

 

haven't been satisfied. For me the show was just a reuse of every G1 catch phrase and a generic mixture of different parts of the franchise.

Did like a number of the designs at least.

The small scale, lack of originality, use of the original 13, primus and unicron being deities, bumblebee, the kids. all these things really added up to harm my enjoyment of the series.

 

I think the show has a great start. If they follow the trend I hope then the next seasons will only get better and better as they learn their stride.

 

The only thing I don't like is the limit of TF characters. There is what like 17? and about half of them are one timers.

Aside from that though it's an awesome series.

If they dont use the quotes geewuners will become even more unstable.

 

I suspect that season 2 will introduce a number of new characters. There is only so much time and money that can be spent on building the models needed. Well now they have the core cast already so for season 2 they can use that budget for new characters. Or at least that's my theory. We'll see how it works out.

Started off good and only got better as it went on.

 

It was dead solid with the beginning and the end, but the middle was kinda soft.

 

The show had me hooked right at the start. Just like all shows, it has had some meh episodes and some really awesome ones. Season 2, from the looks of the season finale, is already off to a great start. Things can only go up from here.

 

The first half of it was barely above meh, but the last half especially during the last episodes had me saying OMGTHISISTEHBESTESTEVERTHINGIHAVEEVERSEENINMYLIIIIIIIIIIFE!!!!!!!.

So yeah, damn solid season.

 

Some episodes were good, but most were boring. I don't have much hope for season 2.

 

I wouldn't count the series out just yet.

Hopefully they can surprise us with season 2.

Kinda downhill till Airachnid's apperance and then till Megatron's return.

After Shadowzone (crap) is has been mostly good since to okay. Up till the epic finale.

 

I've loved the show, the episodes that really stuck out to me were (in alphabetical order):

• Scrapheap
• Convoy
• Sick Mind
• Operation: Breakdown
• Metal Attraction
• Rock Bottom

and of course:

• One Shall Fall

Those episodes really seem to hit me among some of the most as some of the best.

 

I loved it!! Best first season I've seen for any tv show. Usually the first season is always slow and the characters are still a bit lame and the story is lame, but with TFP, the characters were quite good in the first few episodes and the story was amazing!

 

I loved it, and greatly look forward to more. I just hope that they put out the full season on dvd, rather than splitting it up, or making the only full box-set a blu-ray only sort of thing.

 

Enjoyed the first many eps aka 1-11. Middle had waaaaaaay to damn much of Bulkhead/Arcee/Starscream so I got really bored. Stayed bored with the show till the last scene in the last episode of the season.

After the entire season has aired now, think my faves would be..

Convoy
Stronger Faster
Rock Bottom
and the One Shall's..all 4 of them
