    Hot Rod. He looks a bit better and was a better character than Rodimus.

    Tough one, as I switch him between both fairly often. had to pick Hot Rod though, as he's my preferred character. Is it wrong that i'll often display him as Hot Rod using Rodimus' trailer platform? canon be damned!

    other than the font wheel i think it works. i also like takara with the target master.

    I switch mine regularly cos he's damn fun to play with! Currently he's posing all serious-like in front of MP Optimus as Rodimus.

    There are two different faces, you can adjust the spoiler on the back (very little though), and you can move his hips in such a way to make him taller.


    As for me, I've only got Hasbro's release, and I tend to keep him in Hot Rod mode just because I love the visor-down and two gun look, just like when he shot at the shuttle in the movie.

    If I get the Takara release, I'll probably use him as Rodimus, although seeing as how many in this thread are doign the exact opposite, maybe I'll have Hasbro as Rodimus.

    His shoulders can also be moved up/down depending on your preference.

    I don't know why Hasbro even bothered to call their's Rodimus Prime. Without the shins being black and no trailer to convert it to the space Winnebago. Although I was reading the package the other day and it says something about "converts to Rodimus prime" so I'm not sure what is meant by that. I was hoping that it means I can get rid of that "I'm constapated" face they put him and convert it to a more Hot Rod style smerk, but I doubt it.

    I have my Takara Rodimus displayed as Rodimus on his attack plank. My TRU MP HotRod is Hotrod with gun in hand and Targetmaster on sitting on his shoulder.

    Sorry I didn't read any of the other posts before I posted that one. ( maybe I should start doing that) I'm ALOT more excited by MP Hot Rod now that I know he has 2 faces. Can the Hot Rod face be displayed without visor?

    I have my Hasbro version in Rodimus mode holding the matrix above his head with both arms. As if just being ordained as a prime:)
