Customs: How do you add metal pins to a joint?

    I recently picked up the mini-con assault team and I really like it. Personally Windshear is my favorite of the bunch, but she has a massive problem that affects her and the combined mode, that being her infamous cockpit that falls off by a slight breeze. I want to add a pin to keep it attached but I've never done something like this, so if someone has done this to this figure or any other, I would really appreciate any help.

    You have to have the right sized pin first. Assuming that those are the standard size of 1/16 commonly used pins, or 1.6mm, then you would just need to have the right length pin lying around. Not sure where you can find those to buy by themselves though.

    Well Windshear doesn't have a pin, I'd have to drill a hole and add one, I was just hoping someone had done it before and could tell me how so I don't screw something up
