This is drivin' me nuts. I'll try to describe the problem as best I can, seeing as pictures really can't explain what my problem is. When I first got Prime out of the box, he had his cheast pieces nice and fit so that when you pull down on the little lever that makes him talk, the mech alive jazz pumps them upward and he talks while his eyes light up. Well, I've transformed him about eight times, and each time I do it, I can never position the chest pieces the same way. Now whenever I pull the panel, his head raises a little bit, and he talks. So how do I place the chest pieces so that they can move along with the lever and his head? Can someone show me a piccy of how it's done? Much appreciated if ya do!

He sure says he's Optimus Prime when I'm fiddling with his chest pieces though....

Just a thought, have you folded the little blue door-half down from under the windows? The problem you're having sounds like the problem I had after I first transformed him to truck and back, and I hadn't realised that there's a fold down peice of blue plastic under door-windows that sit either side of his chest. When it's folded up behind the window it tangles with the gimmick and results in the chest peices not moving correctly. When it's folded down, it looks more screen accurate and doesn't tangle.
    Hope this helps.:)

I also forgot to unfold the blue flaps first time. Easy to miss.

I've found that you can lock the mech-alive by pushing Optimus's right door in a little. It'll look just the same, but the mech-alive will be disabled. You can pull it out and it'll work just fine.

I'll try this. Last I checked, I just folded it out to the side so that the piece could try to fit as snug as possible.

Also, be sure to lock in the blue roof pieces on his shoulder; they snap down into place on either side of his head. I had the same problem you did until I noticed that those pieces weren't fully snapped in.
