And in the last episode rodimus is alive and well. Discord - A New Way to Chat with Friends & Communities Was this confirmed or something

 

It was stated in this comic that Ratchet developed a cure with Oil Slick. While the latter betrayed him, Ratchet was able to salvage the formula and get it to the Autobots. So they have a way to reverse the effects of Cosmic Rust.

I was disappointed that the original intention was apparently make Rodimus a jerk in place of Sentinel.

But the writers decided people actually liked Rodimus (barely a handful) and so they made Sentinel the nasty one.

Even though clearly most fans want to see Optimus absolutely destroy Rodimus for being a rash, pathetic unproven leader that he is.

 

Maybe we got X-Transbots Locke all wrong. Maybe they actually made Shitpiece and not Kup!
