Bonecrushers crotch problem isn't due to the black peg, it's actually due to the green pieces being misaligned when transforming to bot mode.

I found it wasn't pegging together as solid as I'd like, and noticed one of the green panels wasn't flush to the bottom of the lower abdomen like the other.

After aligning it properly, it tabbed in securely without it popping loose.

I'm not sure if it's like this on all copies but worked well on mine.

It works best for me when I do both at the same time. Make sure the black peg is going in and align the green panels as I am inserting the peg.

Is it only me that notices that the black square by the butt pegs in also to secure the crotch in place a lot better. Check it out. Let me know if it helped. Coz it did on mine.

Eh, I've complained about it in my review, but it's not that big of an issue on mine. The hip's ball joint don't tend to unlock it, so for casual play it's fine.

really gave a good look at Bonercrusher's crotch. It's a bit more than simply sticking Bone's round tab into the hole.

Mine has same issue. There's 2 tiny ' L' shaped pegs on the crotch that supposed to tab together but some Bonecrushers have a missing upper tab piece on one of the pegs, so it does'nt stay together well. The black tab on the back isn't much help.

It's a little annoying.Could always mod it or use a clip piece.

I mentioned the waist coming apart in my review (written, I don't do video reviews), but it wasn't a huge deal because none of the individual figures' failings can damn this piece in my eyes, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

I sat there before finishing the review trying to find a way for Bonecrusher's crotch to stay together, it has tabs inside that seem like they're trying to use pressure to hold the parts together, but ultimately they work against each other unless the legs are bearing identical amounts of weight, which is nigh impossible.

He has a black peg between those two green pieces between his legs. Holds them together

My problem isn't with the crotch, it pegs if you do it right.

My problem is the friction tab arm configuration. I don't know if mine didn't mold correctly, but Devy has a gimped arm. It won't stay together.

...other than needing for a few times to get the crotch to slot in right, I have had no problems with my figure.

It's a mistransformation issue. You just have to align the green tabs then solidify the connection with the black.

I don't know why this thread even came up but this is a normal guy thing to do.

Boxers, briefs, boxer briefs... It doesn't matter at some point we need to calibrate it at some point.

Green tabs? Gotta get that checked out man.

    :lol

    This thread is gold.

IMO with regards to the crotch issue its pretty minor. It doesn't affect tge overall figure in the sense that the whole figure doesn't come tumbling down.

What's disappointing is that for an official toy, we have to do our own self-fixes such as applying nail polish etc.

A couple suggestions that might help with that arm: (off topic, but trying to help). Is that black piece underneath Bonecrusher's folded up arms pegged in? That will help keep it together. If that doesn't help, or if you've already done it, try pegging Bonecrusher's arms together as usual, but not quite all the way. That should make the fit of those four tabs tighter and help secure it.

It's a tab, not a peg, which is why it fails.

It doesn't peg if you do it right, it only tabs without friction, and uses the tiny outer connectors' friction to hold the thing together.

I just checked mine, it does NOT have that issue. Is it possible you have flash on one or more or the tabs preventing them from locking together? It's not super solid, it didn't take a lot of force to pull that part open on mine, but there's nothing in the design that would cause it to come apart either, it's not bearing any weight.

Mine generally falls down into the splits unless I get a very neutral pose.
