It follows the Continuity set by WFC, not the Movieverse.

I believe little, if at all. Hasbro mentioned that the show is based on War For Cybertron continuity.

EDIT: Spencimus beat me to it. :D

More so the Exodus novel? Right?

I think it's implied that events go down on earth the same way as in the movies, with Humans getting more fed up with Cybertronians and forcing even the Autobots into hiding to not cause commotion.

It might incorperate some of the concepts, but not anymore than Animated did.

Didn't hasbro say that the WFC video game is a prequel to the established micheal bay movie verse.

No, they didn't. WFC is not movieverse at all.

So far we just have little tiny bits of information to go on.

Not following anything too closely might be a good idea since that gives the creative team the chance to make their own Transformers world instead of being hobbled to the ideas of someone else that might not work for a long running cartoon.

Perhaps it will be one of those shows that brings in bits from all over Transformers while still doing it's own thing.

Prime is said to be set after the events of War for Cybertron "but something else happens in between".

Never confirmed what that something is, but if Exodus is anything to go by, then it seems like there might be a small amount of Movieverse, or a version of certain events, in the backstory.

When the show airs we'll find out.

    I respectfully disagree.

A few of the design pics we've have a certain movie-verse look to them. Prime and Bumblebee in particular.

Then again Ratchet has elements of his animated design in there.

In terms of story though the series will follow on from War for Cybertron/ Exodus. Although there are differences in the two - so it'll be interesting to see which one the show follows.

I'm really looking forward to it.

I thought Prime incorporated the best parts of all of the Transformers lure, I mean isn't WFC the Prequel, the designs movie and G1 hybrids, and random, back stories sprinkles of different continuities (IDW, Animated, G1, movie etc). That is the what I got from SDCC panel.

Exactly, that's what Exodus did. Primus, the 13, the AllSpark, the Quintessons, Vector Sigma, the Core and Dark Energon, Velocitron, Gigantion, Liege Maximo and the Hub, the Ark and the Nemesis, the Wreckers, Shockwave on Cybertron, even the IDW Megatron Origin and Kup's assertion in All Hail Megatron that the war started over the Matrix was in there. I think by the time Prime begins, the AllSpark will have been destroyed, but Fallen might show up, you never know.

    I can't flipping wait frankly.

WFC could go for a bunch of continuities, but the one it absolutely cannot go with is movieverse. We already have the prequel, on-Cybertron story from it, and the AllSpark is nowhere to be found in WFC. That was the end all object for the Transformers so they wouldn't just decide to chase that after they were done with the dark energon.

I thought I read that "movie like events" had happened. Meaning that its not movie but that the movie would kind of fit.
