From the looks of things 2017 is the year of the giants. Next year we'll have Disney's BFG, The Power Rangers, Kong Skull Island(vs Godzilla, why Hollywood, why..) and Pacific Rim 2. The biggest Transformers/characters so far have been Devastator, Driller and the Dinobots. Could the Dragon be the biggest yet?
Well, it's hard to tell from this picture of it from the neck up. I imagine it can't be that much bigger than Devestator, since his model literally fried someone's computer.
How big is your TV? I think it's impossible to tell from that picture, but the general consensus seems to be BIG. I just hope it's not another big robot CGi thief.
I say he's likely several stories high and at least big as, or taller than, Bayverse Devastator. . .We'll see soon.
Its difficult to really judge based on the poster, as they will have increased or decreased the size of objects for effect. With that said, putting it opposite Optimus Prime is probably done to imply we'll see a battle between the two - so i expect it is probably going to end up being like the Kraken in 'Pirates Of the Caribbean; Dead Man's Chest'. Probably large enough that it can either bite or swallow Optimus - yet not too large that it seems like an impossible task to defeat. Considering that i doubt it will be the main threat of the movie, i expect instead that this is a distraction from a potential 'Nemesis Spaceship' discovery.
That's my guess. With the fragmented neck being a result of "transformium" ability leftover from Megatron's stint as Galvatron. He either reformats himself, or is reformatted, from Galvatron into Megatron 2.0, and is essentially a monster. An evil, cunning, sparkless, abomination at the molecular level that half-transforms traditionally, half-transmutates into this beastly form (and perhaps also some sort of jet form) Imagine the visual spectacle that will be. I also want him to eat sparks, and maybe not be in full control of his physiology. Beast Machines needs some homage beyond that helmet. That's my hope anyway.
I think that's a possibility we can't rule out yet. It's promotional art that was put up very early in the production which may be a reference to something in an earlier draft.
I think it will be double size of Grimlock...from what i knew the ROTF flash back of ancient time Jaguar to create the Ravage, after that AOE flash back Jurrasic period brought us Dinobots, now flash back medieval period comes a Dragon...Just feel they use the same formula..hopefully with new writers on board the story and action would be better this time.
