How many Transformers (including 3rd party) are in your collection? I know that size isn't everything, I don't want people to think their collection is better or inferior due to numbers, I'm just curious about general quantities. I'm also curious to see if anyone responds with a collection that's bigger than the so-called world record of 2,111 - I know there are larger out there.

As an additional question: how many do you think someone needs to have to be considered a 'large' collection?

I'm probably around that much. In the hundreds. I've never actually counted. Might have to some day.

I don't have exact numbers because my inventorying has been really bad for a couple years, but I'm pretty sure that I'm north of 2k. And I started collecting in 2003ish and have just a smattering of stuff from before RID, so I'm sure there are collectors north of 4k without even counting 3rd party.

More than I’ve counted or been able to keep track of. I just looked at a G1 list and I have around 50 of those alone. Considering how I’ve constantly bought more and more through the years, I’d put a conservative estimate at 500. Probably a lot more than that but I really have no idea.

Not a clue. I've been collecting since 1984 and the only time I really stopped was the year or so before Beast Wars. Gotta be well over a thousand. And that's not even factoring in multi-packs, like the Minicon three-packs and such.

I counted close to two hundred before I left the living room, close to four hundred by the time I quit counting in my room with at least another hundred to go, not counting what’s in storage bins. Probably another hundred in there and another 30-40 in their boxes in the closet.

At least five hundred I’m guessing, probably closer to six hundred.

Which is surprising, I thought I was still around three hundred. But I’ve got 20 Combiners, including Devy and Predaking, plus the Botbots, Battlemasters and Micromasters are all adding up quickly. That’s close to two hundred figures right there. I really have to cut back after the WFC Trilogy, it’s getting ridiculous.

310, excluding duplicates. Of that, 91 are Shockwaves, also excluding duplicates.

I used to keep a spreadsheet. I think it was at around 100 when I got bored (around 2012), but my collecting accelerated quite significantly after that. I think I once tried to count what I have on display and got bored / confused somewhere in the low hundreds. Given that I wasn't close to half way through my displays at that point, and I have a significant number I can't display, I'm going to say "lots". I'm not even going to guess whether I'm above or below 1,000 as I genuinely haven't a clue :)

I did just take a quick count of displayed combiner figures (individual components, rather than combined forms) - across G1, CW, FoC, movie and 3PMP, I have around 100 on display. Given that I have more combiner teams (CW and 3P) not on display, and they're only a tiny portion of my collection (just easy to count up a lot in one go :) ), I think "lots" may be underestimating :)

I would say 1,000 is a large, OR whatever number that would get peculiar looks from non-hobby friends and family that are exposed to your collection for the first time. :p

I probably have 1,000+, maybe 2,000+ ... 75% of it is carefully put away in storage due to space and embarrassment from having most of the bay movie toys from 2009-2011. :p

Did a count, I'm thinking it's 240 counting Targetmasters and other little buddies as their own, but NOT Headmasters because they're needed for another figure to even be complete.

A whopping 67. Trying to keep the collection small but it's so damn hard with all these terrific figures that are coming out XD

Been at this since '84. Did a count back around 2014-15 and was just over 5k. Did a purge the last 2 years. So I'm probably down around the 4k mark now. Need to do another count to be sure and to update my lists.

    A gentleman never tells...

Actually maybe 200-300ish right now. Planning to thin out 2/3. Keep it focused to a key few masterpieces, G1, and retail. Go nuts on legends as long as they fit on the shelf haha.
