I attempted a search and found nothing much, so forgive me if this has already been discussed in detail elsewhere.

How big is Sideswipe in ROTF? The only scene I've seen in him with other transformers is the one in the desert where the Fallen teleports in, but he's really far away, and looks a lot smaller than I originally thought (like Jazz and the Twins size). But then in the scene where he skates around the corner of the building, he looks more like Bumblebee size to me.

I think it's safe to say that he'll be a formidable melee fighter... but if he turns out to be a rather small fellow, wouldn't it look a little weird to see him thrashing up the big guys? I don't know... maybe it's just me.

Maybe Mr. Bay is going for the same effect as the Yoda light-saber scene in Star Wars: Episode 2...?

 

i say about the same height as bb but a little thinner.

 

He'll probably be about 1 feet taller than bumblebee due to his roller-skating feet

 

In the comics Wolverine is 5 foot 4 inches, pretty safe to say he handles the big guys with little effort.

And since you mentioned Yoda, here's his thoughts in his own words: "Size matters not!"

I would go along with that. He would be ballpark size with Bumble Bee, but they are both taller than Jazz as he was a very small Car.

 

Well in the t.v spot there is a shot of him, he apears quite small but because he is off in the distance. What i do is use the humans to get an idea of the scale, especially when the angles make it difficult to inteprete the size. So based on looking at the humans in proportion to sideswipe and in proportion to BB in that shot, i' say sideswipe is a tad taller then BB, but much thinner. You have to remember, they screwed up on the scaling of the robots several times in the first film, sometimes ironhide was half the size of prime, other times he was slightly smaller but much wider overall.

Also in the most recent full trailer their is a shot of skids in the backround standing next to simmons. In that shot in the distance skids looks only a couple feet taller but about 4-5 times as wide as simmons. However, i recently learnt that skids and mudflap are 11ft 4 inches tall. So their will evidently be fluctuation. Also i learnt that devastator can only fully stand up to around 50ft tall.

 

Expect him to be bigger than Jazz, but smaller than Bumblebee and twice as badass as both of them combined.

 

I'd say about 18ft or 20ft? Just a simple guess, no hurry.

 

he looks a bit smaller than bumblebee based on the size of the humans stood next to him, i'd estimate then about halfway between jazz and bumblebee, which would make him 16 feet.

 

There are humans next to Sideswipe coming up to his knee's too... I'd say BB and Sideswipe are roughly the same height...

 

As big as a car but smaller than the Batmobile.
