Well that just sounds so cool but it's nothing if no electric. If only you was in Ala we'd jam no doubt.

I didn't get a check but my dad did. He bought a Beretta pistol. He gave me $100 and I'm saving it for building materials.

The EC-1000 is electric, it looks like a Les Paul, but a third of the size with a neck that doesn't feel like you're trying to play a full grown Sequoia

Yeah a friend of mine from IND where i used to live has 2 Gibsons and he let me hold and play both. That's been 1 of my DREAM guitar to own and well a 10pieces Pearl reference/master series drums. It sucks that i might not ever achieve those 2dreams but i know exactly whatcha mean my friend. When you get your first instrument after so long you want better but that utility bills have first bid but sometimes it sucks being a adult LMAO oh well. I mean you can buy 3rd rate epiphone but it's NOT the same guitar in my opinion.

Honestly I don't find Gibson worth it. You can get the Epiphone Dot Studio for under $400 usually whereas the ES-335 it is identical to costs closer to two grand. That, and I believe ESP and Jackson simply make superior instruments. I also don't ride the Marshall train simply because everyone else does. The Crate Blue Voodoo was the best amp ever made.

Yeah metallica use ESP but Kirk on the other hand hes said many times he likes both but James has used ESP. I think ESP has some great guitar as well dimebags DEAN guitar which i was able to play at a music store and loved that guitar love the look and sound of them but NO dealer around me can get ESP guitars. If i got to play 1 I'd probably want that instead of a gibson. I totally agree about the amps and P.A setup using all Marshall heads cause everyone else does. so that doesn't means you have to which i agree whole heartedly. It's the same as with mics Everyone uses SHURE AND the SHURE 57 VOCAL AND drummers use Shure cause voca!s use it. I've always had a list in my head if i could ever get endorsed by who i would want i have companies id love there product. Just give me a dean with lightning effect and cry baby with Roland metal zone pedal tht would be my rig if i had choice and money was no object.

I spent a portion of mine on upgrades for my truck that I’ve wanted to do for a long time.

We junked our old car (a Nissan Skyline/Infiniti G35) and bought a new (used) one, a Subaru Legacy hatchback touring wagon loaded with features. We were looking to upgrade to something with a bit more space when traveling with the dogs and father-in-law out on road trips, so the stimulus check was the perfect excuse. The AWD will also come in handy when it snows.

The "Get a New Car fund."

I've finally got the money, I just had a couple of big bills and some paperwork I have to get and I'll be street legal once again! But any extra money is always nice to put back.

New Gibson's are crap. Buy an old one. I've had my 1965 SG Special for just over 30 years now and nothing made in those 30 years comes close to the feel and sound of it. Nothing!

Gonna spend some of it on retro games, then put the rest of it in the bank where it belongs.

As I said when the this thread first started, saving it for the strip clubs! I have both my stimulus checks in savings.

Wait, I'm getting money? Hahaha hahaha. That's a good one. I mean I've heard some whoppers of a joke. But that one. That one made me laugh. You see like 98% of Americans. There is a thing called debt. You try to hide from it. You even use credit cards to pay off other credit cards.

    In other words. Bills. Lol.
