As the title says, how are you planning to spend your stimulus check? A Grail Transformer? A down payment on a car? House improvement? Giving it back to the government?

No politics, please. Just cake and donuts.

Bills first, then more food :D  And if there's anything left over, probably save it.

Personally, I've bought a Sirenbuilder DX, a LEGO Stranger Things set for my daughter, paying off some taxes I owe from last year, maybe buying a dining set and finally looking to dig a well for my yard.

It's going into savings and staying there. I work for a company that's currently still considered essential services, but I'm not taking the chance of things going even further south and regretting impulse purchases that could be used for basic needs later.

If that money is still there once things clear up, though? Well, I would love to put it toward some KO Marvel Venom figures that I've been eyeing for a few months.

Paid off the remaining balance on my truck. Had just enough left over to buy Grapple and Cliffjumper.

Now that my truck is paid off six months early I can start applying extra payments to other debts and save a little more (for future transformer purchases of course).

    I'll set aside $1000.

As for the rest I have not decided.

I am currently getting SSI due to disability.

Not entirely certain if I qualify?

If so how long it will take.

Time will tell as it always does.

    Take care fellow board members.

Keeping it in the bank and forgetting about it.
My paycheck is steady, as is my girlfriend's. The stimulus checks we each got today will be considered buffers and nothing else.

So how much are your stimulus checks and how often do you get them?

Just curious to how different it is from country to country. We (Canadians) are getting $2K a month for 4 months (possibly 6) that got a back-date start of March 15th for everyone without a job, lost a job or are currently making $1000 or less per month due to decreased hours. But ours is all taxable, so we'll definitely be paying a bit back come next tax season.

1 maybe 2 ways. Fixing my truck (which shouldn't be too expensive. And maybe getting a new PS4. Depends on what the truck costs.

Mainly stretched out over the summer for rent. Might sound like a bummer, but it'll free up what usually goes towards rent to get some goals done and make things less stressful overall.

My truck is paid off and even with 3 teens, I manage to live within my means. So, I used it to get ahead on the one credit card I have. I wasn't behind at all, basically paid more but not off the balance(stupid credit factor BS). That was about 1/3rd of the stimulus.

I may get a couple things that are "needed" but no unnecessary stuff. I like having a buffer like others mentioned.

    The rest is being saved.
