People say Lockdown looks like Lance Hendrikson. Hopefully he's the REAL voice of Lockdown.

 

Actually Hound's look reminiscent of a Vietnam war solider.

Wonder whether certain aspects of the Transformers are changed to match the voice actor. Did they give Hound a beard before or after the voice actor was chosen... just curious?

 

Did the voice actors got chosen before the models got created is a better question.

 

Possibly before. IIRC, Sentinel Prime was based on Sean Connery and when they approached Sean Connery he couldn't commit.

 

I suppose however we've seen concept art of Hound with the beard so it would need to be before that if it was indeed based on the actor.

 

They could have announced him as an official voice actor late as a marketing trick.
not saying that the model wasn't created before he got hired.

No Surprise there. Hound is just a Robotic Version of Walter Sobchack (Which is Honestly Perfect for a Sucessor to the Late Ken Sansom).

It would be Awesome if Hound was based on Sobchack.

 

My brother did 4 years in Afghanistan (fucked him up bad, but we'll talk about that later). So when he saw Hound, naturally, I was curious to hear what he had to say. Apparently, Hound looks like a fatter SF guy. After seeing how all the SEALS in Lone Survivor had beards, I can kinda see it. He still looks like Green Gun Toting Robo-Santa to me.

 

Oh My God, I Can Also See that. Even makes more Sense since Goodman voiced the Robot Santa first.
