Why did Hound, who is a good autobot, kill an innocent creature that was imprisoned? thats no different than killing a caged animal at a zoo. anyone else thing the writers should have put a little more thought into what makes an autobot an autobot?
I think the writers should have put a lot more thought into a lot of things, and this isn't one they should waste their time with.
That thing was probably a parasite, it sure looked like one. Plus it technically attacked hound first.
smh. If something is trying to defend itself because someone is all up on it, dosent mean it deserves to die.
Pretty sure there's a difference between the harmless green slime and the Cybetronian firepower Hound pumped it full of.
this is a TF forum, not really appropriate to talk about other films. i just don't like the writers not putting any effort into defining characteristics. we have Lockdown who is a bad guy trapping things, and autobots who are shooting harmless caged creatures out of spite. i'm calling the writers out for being lazy. i think we are supposed to find that scene funny or something. but it didn't do anything for me but question its existence.
Lets consider this: majority of humans when they see an insect they squash it, it's the cold hard truth. That alien was probably an insect in hounds eyes, an insect who could possibly be dangerous
But do you treat other movies like you do this one? Lockdown's pretty Lockdown-y. I'd certainly say they did him justice. So Hound makes up all the Autobots now? Drift attacked something that attacked him and Crosshairs (arguably the grumpiest of the three) didn't kill any creatures as far as I remember. Hound was pretty much like Ironhide, who ALSO wanted to kill Sam's PARENTS for being annoying. Optimus stopped him then, but here, Optimus couldn't exactly stop him, and was probably too pissed off to care and order him not to.
So what, is PETA just gonna show up to Hound and Drift and tell them to stop hurting these animal we know nothing about? For all we know they could have been a bunch of killing machines on their worlds.
Justify what? Killing an animal that pissed him off? If a bug stings you, most humans crush the bug. That was Hound's reaction, his hand was his gun, and the bug was that....insect...alien...thingy.
