    Ebay:
8 cm tall for 80$? That\'s quite expensive.

I must be missing something - I thought the one on the left might be an original g1 prime but the colours/metal didn't look right (edit: it's the track fleet one, ah) - all you get is the one on the right, and half of that big box with two smaller boxes in it is an empty box in case you get bored of how the toy looks in the other box?

If so, lol, lmao, that's a lot to ask us to pay 80 bucks for.

Hasbro has allowed another company (who isn't lego/a toy specifically designed so it transforms when you yell at it) to make transforming transformers! Can the MacFarlane stuff hopefully be peak?

I'd rather McFarlane stick to what they already do poorly rather than trying to make Transformers that people won't be able to get because he makes all the best ones store exclusive chase variants

I’ll get one if I can preorder. If getting one means having to hunt stores and compete with Hot Wheels collectors then I will just not bother.

They should have used the Missing Link mold because now we have to store the fists in the truck cab.

Thanks, I missed that part. So possibly a “sell out in 1.5 seconds” event. Hmm.

Those other toy makers are akin to the regional partnerships that Dr. Pepper has with Coke or Pepsi.

Mattel and Hasbro collaborating is like Coke and Pepsi teaming up.

Same. I think the cost is really just novelty of Hot Wheels and their paint

I'm a member of the RLC so I'm kinda on board with paying for a premium for spectraflame paint, fancy wheels etc... but this is a bridge too far. A trailer would of been nice but just as is... I'm not sold.

In my day Hot Wheels were 0.95 cents.

But that is pretty sweet looking.

Formerly rival toy makers teaming up isn't that crazy.

Sony and Microsoft are putting their games on other platforms more often these days (Nintendo being Nintendo, it'll be a cold day in Hell for them)

My crazy dream is that this will eventually result in an official Darkclaw toy. Playing the long game, friends

The price point on this is DOUBLE what it should be.  Absolutely ridiculous.
