That's impressive dude! I'm interested to know which Vader you prefer - Sideshow or Hot Toys? When you finally have both in hand, of course!  

 

This time last year I had zero 1/6 figures. Then I won a Sideshow contest and the flood gates opened. Now up to 23 figures, with another 5 on P/O. Hell I have a full Squad of just OT Stormtroopers, not counting Clone troopers or 1st order. I am using the SS Proto Fett as an imperial Super Commando.

 

Awesome! I want the ESB Bounty Hunter set but just can't do it. I'm happy with Deluxe ROTJ Fett though.

what figure\s did you win? with the 2 i have in hand i'm already hooked.... so tempted by the proto fett but promised myself only one of each character apart from the stormtroopers as going to get the sandtrooper and a snowtrooper but essentially different figures  

i got the deluxe version of fett wasn't much more than the other one without sarlacc pit so thought may as well go for it..... very expensive set the bounty hunters

 

It was HT Iron Man 3 Striker. I ended up giving it to my brother for Christmas to make space for more house party protocol figs.

And my jumptrooper that I bought on Sunday in China already accepted and moving thought the post system... please no delays!

Holy shit, people actually win those things? Somehow I get the Sideshow promotional e-mails and always see the giveaway contests but I stopped caring. I think I tried to win the life size T-800 Endoskeleton a long time ago.

 

Ya, they give away around $15,000-$20,000 a year in contests - only thing is you pay for shipping.

 

I've been entering every contest they've had for over a year...nothing yet.

 

never seen a hottoys contest before but then again never really followed just admired pictures of peoples hottoys collections  

might buy the sideshow jawa's not sure tho and although not seen rogue one yet and was only going to get figures from the first 3 films i want one of those deathtroopers! look so cool

forbiddon planet international got their restock and got my shipping notice earlier so hopefully have that one by monday the rogue one vader has been shipped but coming from japan but hopefully have that one in 2 weeks

got obi wan only to realise i bought and over paid for the sideshow version my own fault for not reading the description properly , it is misb though ... going to put it back up on ebay and hope someone will pay what i did for it £180   but doubt it looking at prices on ebay "edit" what i might do is buy one of the custom heads on ebay which are only £20 odd and they look really good and put it up on ebay with that , would do that and keep it but its actually the hot toys one i want

will be straight into this thread to give my opinion on the 2 but i'm actually scared i'm going to love them both and want to keep them both which means something will need to be sacraficed to make up the money spent  

 

I've just stuck my foot into the HT range with Rey and BB-8 after seeing the Disney Elite Premium Leia and being impressed enough with the price/quality ratio to get her and Vader, but still wanting something more accurate.

And she doesn't disappoint, the likeness and attention to detail are amazing. One niggle I have is that there's no ankle articulation, which makes posing her tricky, and I'm not sure paying the extra for BB-8 was worth it, but overall she's the most fun I've had out of a toy for a long time.
