    Hearts of Steel Shockwave.

repainted from masterminds Cyclops, I completely repainted him into a more raw iron steel boat effect, I added some rust effect throughout the bottom of the ship this truly gives the effect being an old steamboat warship. Just had fun with him. One my my old time favor transformer ever.

thank you everyone for stopping by

This is a pretty cool idea, but I'm afraid without additional detailing and convincing weathering effects the rust comes off as tacky. The fact it looks so realistic is the weakest point as the rest of the paint job retains a very artificial and cartoony feel. I'd pick a direction and go all the way instead of meeting both distinct styles in the middle.

Here is some reference of a rusted ship hull. You'll notice large chunks of the paint begin to chip and release from the steel which has become oxidized. While you have some of that, the rest of the ship, primarily the flat primer grey areas are untouched.

When a boat becomes rusty the whole thing tends to rust from salt in the water, and salt in the air which corrodes the entire vessel entirely. Not just the part which makes contact with the water.

Again, the rust is a nice touch, though it looks like it could get messy over time, crumbling , and falling off here and there. I would have preferred an overall stylistic approach that saw a lot more love and attention paid to the rest of the ship. It's like you painted the base colors on, and got too excited to properly finish them and went right for the super realistic rust.

It's kind of a disappointment with such a high-end and expensive figure.
