Cloned from Waspinator's CNA, Hornetron is one badass bug that treats Autobase like his hive, protecting it zealously. His aerial prowess gives even Powerglide a run for his money, and his complete disregard for his own personal safety, combined with his unmitigated ferocity in combat makes him a foe that many a Decepticon dread encountering. Hornetron was made from an Animated Waspinator that had lost one of his little T-Rex arms; so I took that arm, and after chopping off Waspy's 'beak', attached the claw to his face with a bit of glue and green stuff. I then did away with the ball joints where the little arms were as they were no longer needed... The paint job was pretty simple; I gave him a base coat of yellow spray paint and then did the highlighting with Citadel Chaos Black, Blood Red, and some Sunburst Yellow in certain spots. I'd been watching a lot of DC cartoons on Netflix, and as a result of their costume designs having a big time Jack Kirby influence, so to did Hornetron's paint apps.
