I'm hoping for a Metroplex reissue someday. I missed the earlier release and eBay prices are terrible.

Maybe after Earthrise Scorponok 2020, they will put out a brand new Metroplex in 2021?

You think that's bad??? I got 2 of them when they were $60. And then my father died so I freaked out & sold a bunch of my collection including both of them. Then the prices went stupid. Takara reissued him & the prices still didn't go down. More supply hit the market which means the demand should've gone down but nope!

And people wonder why I dislike eBay sellers. All they do is try to push every figure up to $100 & higher. Doesn't matter if it's old, new, limited, exclusive, wide release, legend class, Deluxe, voyager, leader etc. $100+ is always the goal. Pretty much every figure on my want list is $100 or higher.

The original 2012 or 13 release (dont remember its release date) wasnt that good either. I prefer they do a more square version of him, just like what we used to watch on TV, not this skinny interpretation of him.

Prices on eBay are crazy? What? With a little patience he can still be had for only a $50 markup which for his age isn’t that bad. Local toy store here has been sitting on a boxed one for $250 for about a year now because nobody is biting.

Just be patient, people will want to offload them when the next Titan comes around to make space.

I'd rather have a retooled Metrotitan with ramp connectors for Titans Return and Earthrise base bots.

It makes sense Hasbro would revisit some of the older Titan figures since it will have been out for 7 years by the time Scropy is released next year and 8 years by the time the next Titan slot is available.

If it wasn't reissued when Trypticon came out (only the Takara version was) I don't see that happening now. It's more likely there will will be a new version when Hasbro runs out of suitable characters to be made as titans.

Personally, I prefer the aesthetic of the G1 toy. I'd rather a new one closer in appearance to it.

But I completely agree with the price hiking on EBay. It's dreadful.

Glad that I got T30 Metro when I did. I'd only buy a new version if it had significant improvements over the T30 version, like a useable chest compartment behind the black door.
