Really enjoy this video, the smooth transformation showed between 0:40 to 1:00.

 

I love his channel. No talking, just music. Not sure why this particular video omitted the usual 'highlight reel' of posing at the end of each upload.

 

I kinda want this, but I've shied away from buying stand alone bots that I have nothing to display with. I do have a random robot shelf though....

Both reviews highly recommended this figure, thinking even with the shortcoming like not waist, simple transformation, it's still a very good figure for its price.




Anyway, after seeing this pic, I'm not going to wait more for reviews, I paid full for it in showz.

Great idea, I think it should be very easy to spray paint underside of wings to purple, just make sure use mask tape cover other area first.

 

With MPM ratchet and. MP Tigatron in September, I decided to cancel my PO. I’m still interested.

And with the new images to prove the fake cockpit chest, I was definitely out. It looks so bland and ugly. Maketoys proved you can do it with the real cockpit (and just a touch of faux part at the very bottom); they just used thinner plastic and had crappy design choices in other areas. But the upper body area was done perfect.

I hate that MP direction for G1 right now. The cockpit chest has no business being faked, and I really can't trust whatever comes along later to not do the same thing when it probably doesn't have to.

 

Maybe you can ask around those who bought the MP-44 KO. The new Starscream head is included. Not sure about its connection though.

 

Fake parts is cheating. May as well sell a model jet with a model robot that looks like it could transform into the jet.
Maketoys Seekers could of been so good if they didn't try to please the toon accuracy mob.

I'm glad for figures like Red Eagle to keep me in the hobby.

 

He doesn’t fit into my collection but I’m still getting him. He looks great. I think in my head canon this will be a G1 Starscream who gets his hands on the Matrix and is mutated sort of like Scourge was in The Burden Hardest to Bear. The chest light will be perfect as a glowing matrix. Just need to find an MP-11 head.

 

I also realized while I was looking at this, I do have a junker MP-11 Thundercracker. I can strip the face paint and redo it in gunmetal.

Okay--I think I need to be honest with myself. I'm getting this. It's just too cool to skip!

 

This last pic has me back on board for being interested, still a bit too big, but not as bad as it originally seemed

 

Do we know if the MP-11 head hinders transformation? in other words, does it have to be removed for transformation?
